Yamaha V-Star Sat for 5 YEARS!!

Through a friend of my mom, I was led to a 2003 Yamaha V-Star 1100 that hadn't been moved in about 5 or 6 years. The owner said, "It's yours if you can get it running." Of course I can't say no to that!
Will 5 years of sitting in a dusty old garage have done too much for this old girl? Or will she come back to life? Watch and see!

Just now buying my cousin’s 2003 VStar 1100 that’s been sitting in his garage for 4 years. It’s the same bike I had until 2007 and was my favorite one. Thanks for this video, it’s exactly what I was looking for to see what I’m looking at to get it running!

Once a Vstar starts gagging on the choke you have to gradually reduce it until it will idle on its own. Ask me how I know.

Any idea what the line with the filter looking thing sticking up between the carbs that connect to the air filter are called bc mines missing and I need one
