yeah it started but you've got a major problem with the low compression in one of the cylinders. probably cost more to fix than its worth.

It had a hole in the top of the piston. I got a top end kit for 600 from sbt. It has been running really well since.

Is the code the same for a yamaha xl 1200 limited? I got one and it turns over just won't start. It didn't have a battery in it for a year just put a new one in and when i go to start it cranks but won't start.

Mine wont do anything at all until the code is entered. Not even turn over. I dont beleive the code is your problem

@@bucksgarage1 yea mine is doing the same thing. do you think its the code for mine. i have a video on my youtube channel about it trying to start. i personally think is the fuel filter but im no mechanic.

@@brandonhanny2786 i wouldn't be suprised if it was the same code. Dump a little fuel in the top of the carb and try to start it. If it starts it could be a fuel problem.

Hey does anybody knows if one of the cylinders is low on compression does it runs at all ? or does it runs acting up ? Thank you

Mine ran descent with 60 psi on one cylinder and 120 on the other. It idles real rough and had a hard time getting going but once it was higher in rpms it ran descent.

@@caesarsandoval1204 It really depends on where the bad part is. My piston had a hole in the top and I tried to run it for a summer. It just ended up being too temperamental to keep running like that. It ended up being hard to start, idled real rough, and didnt have the top end. It only took around 6 hours or less to fix once I had the parts.
