Yamaha XJ900f part 2.

The continuing saga of my servicing of my XJ900 Yamaha. A few parts have arrived and I'm back in the garage again to fit them.Nothing too complicated and these short videos are for entertainment purposes only. I do hope they entertain you. Thanks for watching and enjoy.

i notice your dad's bike, the xj900f, is chained up, in your own garage, is theft a serious problem where you live. there's always cases of stealing round here but it never occurred to me to lock up bikes in the garage, perhaps i should - better safe than sorry i suppose.

Ian, honestly I would say that I'm not really concerned about theft. It's just that I found good quality chain and padlocks in my father's house when I was clearing it out. (He passed away recently). I thought that for all the time it takes to chain the bikes up, I may as well do it. I have this mantra, 'Use it or loose it'. I couldn't bear to throw the chain out so it's now being dutifully employed. Regards, Alistair.
