Yamaha YZ250X review, build breakdown

Interesting thoughts on the fuel efficiency of this bike. My experience has been different. I have an 18' YZ250X with the Apex XC head getting 26mpg average. Mostly trails. Your jetting might be rich, esp if you get lots of spooge. I had lots and jetted leaner, I run 50:1 Yamalube 2R and can go 40 miles in a ride without hitting reserve. Barely any spooge. Took about 3 months of experimenting but now it's perfect. I think these YZs can benefit a lot from fine tuning the carb. I wonder if the Lectron is rich which is why your engine so inefficient. I'd bet the spark plug is real nasty if you take a look. Like how mine did when I got it...
