Yamamoto's Thumb Down Emerger

Nice looking emerger! Never tried it yet, but it could be possible a dab of UV resin onto the thorax while pushing down on the deer or elk hair just in front of it then hitting it with the light might get you that sexy looking thumb down wing without the need for thread wraps. The CDC looks great though!

Thank you for sharing this fly. It looks very good, and I will have to tie some to try this year. For future content, I would enjoy seeing salmon flies tied step by step.
