isn't it worth noting that the manjusri ~mirrored~ the anger of the transformed monk? the monk saw an exactly version of his wrath, only a lot of times worse. i mean, there's a big reference to mirrors in the tibetan book of the dead. Some entities carry it as a strong symbol during the judgement of the souls of the dead: the mirror is important for the judgement because the judgement itself isn't anything less than the reflection of the dead person's own actions during life
