Grain itself isn't explosive, but the 'dust' coming off of it is. It's that the fine powder gives a greater 'surface area' making it very much easier to combust rapidly. Flour and coffee creamer are also very much so. There are videos out there of people demonstrating it with coffee creamer.

@SaviorOfNirn I'm not saying anyone is in the wrong, no one in this whole group is in the wrong. No matter what you say, even ozpin isn't in the wrong. Lies are necessary in these kinds of situations where negativity can end someones life by bringing mobs of grim. Let's look back at episode 2. Ozpin: "Do you really think lionheart was the first, that he didn't say those same exact words to me." You can hate on ozpin all you want, but it seems after these episodes, ozpin actually has more people who sympathize with him instead of attacking him in the fan base. Because most people actually use their brains. :p

Many people seems to misunderstood that particulary scene. Ruby is comforting Oscar, telling what she believes in, not exactly telling him a lie, but neither really the truth. She only said what she felt, to cheer him up. As for Qrow, well, as much cruel move from his part to said such things. That was his way to don't give Oscar any sense of fake hope.

I’m still angry over this. Like seriously Ozma watched his wife whom he loved turn dark, tried to protect his children from her twisted plains, them watched them die. Drowns in grief, Lives with hope, Fights to be a bringer of positive change, Betrayed by people he trusts so many times it’s no wonder he has never told anyone because this is how they reacted! They kicked the sad puppy Ozma where it hurt. And as messed up as the truth is it’s still maddening that they saw his grief and scoffed at it. THE DUDE WAS GRIEVING!!! And...Yang is a hypocrite because She’s Keeping Secrets About Raven Being The Spring Maiden! Volume 8 I hope they address all this with calm heads and empathy!

A lot of people are mad at Ozpin for "hiding" away in Oscar's mind. Honestly, I don't really blame him. He had to rewatch his history over again through Jinn's storytelling, including the death of his children, and another one of his friends (Qrow) turned his back on him as well as his students. Sure, he lived a bunch of different lives and probably experienced this many times over but at the end of the day he's still human. He makes mistakes just like the rest of us. You have to at least give the guy some credit. The person he has to kill is the love of his life and the Mother of his children.

I think alot of the problem lies in the fact that Ozma/Ozpin has been thinking he would need to kill Salem to defeat her and he knows she cannot die. In all his years he hasn't thought of any other way to deal with her. Which is surprising since they have developed suspended animation technology.

I feel bad for oz because this man just had his whole bloody, painful, heart-breaking life just spilled for everyone to hear. Now everyone turns their back on him. I would isolate myself too. He could have easily just stayed with Salem and not try to save the world, but he gave up EVERYTHING in order to give Remnant a fighting chance. Yang this episode just aggravated me.

Another clear example that Salem has self control and is not a being of pure anger and destruction, because if it were truly a being of pure chaos he would not let his subordinates leave before exploiting, much less forgiving Hazel's life. also you note that salem prioritizes honesty, which is possible because of what ozpin did in the past, seriously with each cap I like more salem, is a good villain and not just a generic villain.

Self control? She heard Ozpin's name and the windows cracked and she ordered her subordinates to leave she immediately experienced incredible anger at acknowledgment of Ozpin's being back and could barely wait to explode. It was a temper tantrum: people with self control don't have temper tantrums at the mention of someone they hate.

XD. already serious, for the hatred that has to him to ozpin the normal thing is that it had exploded causing that all his subordinates were thrown by his energy(normal for a series), but she was conscious to the point that allowed that they retired. that is to know when to control before causing unnecessary damage.

Katie and Megan, we love you guys. I feel bad for Qrow, Raven, and team RWBY they trusted Oz to be straight with them and he wasn’t. I don’t totally blame Oz for not fully trusting after so many years. He has a very jaded out look on life now. I feel bad for Oscar. He’s caught in the middle of the massive fallout from what Oz has been doing for a very long time. I agree with Katie, Salem isn’t sane; as she shows at the end of the episode. She closer to sanity then Tryrian but not by much. My thought at Salem’s tantrum was, uh oh mommy’s mad. 😇😇😇

Hard to tell with him, his capricious nature and erratic behavior makes individual actions hard to read. The only constant I see in Tyrion is he is the one follower of Salem that sees her as a Goddess, to him she can do no wrong no matter what so far. He might have been serious, but he is also prone to erratic and extreme mood swings, I see signs of at least 2 mental disorders. He seems to take anything involving Salem very very seriously, the rest of existence not nearly as much.
