@@loucas9608 the MIA unit is the Multimedia unit for the 457. The TFT does not come stock with maps or the ability to change your music or see who’s calling. 1800 more seems pretty in-line with how much more you get... I've ridden the last 8 years worth of R3s and, they are good, but they feel a lot cheaper than the RS457. Also, wait 2 years and dealerships that still have new old stock will likely give you the bike for the same 6400 as your R3... 2022 RS660s are nearly 20% off right now!

The only problem I have with it is the price, and I think this is what it's gonna come down to for most people. Comparing prices in my country (Austria) real quick: The RS 457 is 7990€. The Z500 is 6399€, the Ninja 500 is 7099€. So it's either 1600 or 900 bucks more than Kawasaki's offerings, depending on whether you want naked bike or sportbike style. That said, the SV650 is only 7490€ and this is where I think the choice gets tough, because the SV650 is really in a higher class of performance, but it's also an old bike that's been around for over 20 years. So I guess you can have the highest-end A2 level beginner bike, or the bike that served as many people's entry point for a proper big bike.

I honestly surprised he didn’t dig to deep into the quality of the parts like others have (brakes, plastic gas tank, lack of clip ons, brand of tires, etc). But it’s kinda refreshing. I think he said there was no vibrations up in the higher revs, which is good, but I am curious how the wind buffeting is at higher speeds, because that windshield is so small and is probably going to be the fist thing I am going to change. All in all, I’m glad I watched the video, I think I’ll buy it. Btw Yammie, if your reading this, I’m looking forward to your Suzuki M-109 review.

Side 2 side this bike just feels like a dream. THe stock mapping has a huge dead/flat spot in 2nd gear until you hit about 6.5krpm and its very annoying. I also watched the Revzilla Daily Rider episode on this, it sounds like it would really benefit from a bit of tuning. 2nd gear is deliberately flat, and power is likely restricted in general. Would you recommend this for someone who wants a bike to have fun with but doesn't care to have massive power? I used to have a 2016 CBR 300r years ago and miss having a bike every now and then, sold it because I wasn't using it and needed money at the time. Been waiting for us creators to get their hands on these because I wanted to see the impressions.

Here in the Philippines, this bike costs just as much as a brand new 2025 Ninja 500. the only thing stopping this thing from selling here is that the Aprilia dealers are only in Metro Manila and Metro Cebu.

6 second 0-60 means it's slower than almost any car on the road. Even an F250 diesel is that fast. Which makes it the perfect beginner bike for me.
@aniruddhavispute

Seems like this has to do with the mid range drop that US has because of the regulations. In India, this has V-box (GPS) tested 0-60 of 4.99 seconds.

@@rienkhoek4169 Yes, 6 seconds is fast (for a car) whatever other people might say or even think. But it's not about a specssheet, it's about the feeling the bike (or car) gives you driving it.

Hey I saw your beginner rider video a little bit ago! You mention not holding in the clutch when slowing down aaaand that's something I do all the time. Say I'm going 45mph and coming up to a stop sign, I'll pull in the clutch and downshift then coast a bit before starting to brake for my stop. Should I be shifting through every gear down from 5 while coming up to the stop? I've only been riding for a year or so and any tips would be greatly appreciated! Thank you.

Not really the same class of bike IMO. The zx4rr is a bigger and heavier bike, it really does not feel like a small bike. The RS457 feels like a true small bike. Honestly at the dealership after getting my hands on a zx4rr I was very dissapointed. For that size, weight, and money I would justs get a zx6rr.

@@IDontKnow-bb6mt 4 and 6 are completely different classes, these senseless, illogical "dollar per hp"comparisons are so dumb, lol. The zx4rr is a beginner sporty bike to learn and maybe upgrade to 600cc later, it's not meant to be a crotch rocket like the 600cc supersports. Over 50hp difference to start with 😂
