Yanagi's weapon is a Naginata, essentially a katana spear, it is historically wielded by the wives of samurai who were trained in martial arts to guard their homes. It is traditionally the iconic weapon of female warriors of Japan, which is why Raiden Shogun also wields it.

Also QY would have to be onfield a lot longer to get Shock, which makes her more likely to get hit as a melee unit or dodging instead of building anomaly.

Depending on what the enemies are you can run Burnice/Yanagi and Grace/Jane, it seems that they are creating two types of anomaly roles in off field and on field at least in my mind it looks like Grace and Yanagi play different roles

You can look at the thing on her hair, if it's glowing blue you're in a stance (not used to the name yet), if it's glowing yellow you're in the other stance

That's the point, Mihoyo seen F2P were getting zhu yaun and ellen playing ZZZ like a traditional hack and slash so, now standard DPS characters are going to be made completely irrelevent so f2P is left behind either having to re-roll their accounts, or get comfortable being left behind as the content gets harder to accommodate for the new anomoly DPS meta. That's what they did with honkai star rail twice.

I get that people want to save time by applying Seths shield by using the Defensive Assist, rather than his Enhanced Basic, however i feel like those same people often forget that his Enhanced Basic also applies a debuff (which his Defensive Assist does not, only Enhanced Basic or Chain Attack) which is "Anomaly Buildup RES to all Attributes is reduced by 20% for 20s". Now, i havent crunched the numbers on this, but i still prefer to apply his shields with his Enhanced Basic (if possible) so i can get this debuff aswell as the shield.

It’s gonna be the most versatile Anomaly team for Jane, Burnice, Yanagi, and you just mix and match one of those 3 with each other and slot in Qinyi, Lighter, Koleda, Cesar, or anyone else who fits their element - throw in a bangboo that matches one of the 2 elements and you’re golden. From what I can tell she will probably have enough electro application for herself. I feel like I should have grabbed more copies of Jane because tbh her assault rate is lackluster, it hits hard but not nearly as often as I’d like

They're both on-field heavy agents, so I wouldn't recommend it that much (especially since more field time for Yanagi means more energy to cast her busted EX-special polarity Disorder). Piper is probably a better choice.

So far every limited character has been great so I wouldnt worry about it and just get whomever you like. Dont completely disregard what units you already have (like dont just pull dps units only/or support) but in general you should be fine, if you take your time.
