Professor Cheng ialready mastered the best of Taijiquan and became the legend of the legends in his field. He is my learning model for the rest of my life in practicing taijiquan. Extremely grateful for the sharing of this film

Absolutly amazing! The simplicity of this master is the result of his profoundness!

Stay away from other form which jumps up and down or twists your body with lots of fancy nonsense movements. That is designed strictly for stage performance and wishfully to be included in Olympic competition. Cheng is truly a master. More on chengmanching.com

@26:54 - looks like Mr. Smith having a go at the guy. A better puncher than the previous two but still no Mike Tyson but I don't think Tyson would have hurt the Chinese guy either. That part of the movie was from the early 60s when Smith was in Taiwan I suppose. I think a frame from that movie is in one of his books or is it Smith punching Wang Shu-chin in the book? Definitely Smith in the segments following. This is truly classic stuff.

Tam Gibbs, Ed Young. @ 10:20 push hands made sometime in the early 70s I'm guessing. Maybe in a park on the west side of Manhattan, Hudson river in the background.
