The Umpires in this game need to be demoted, they were TERRIBLE. Yankees should of scored on that ball Torred hit ghat hit the line making it fair but they called it foul, Soto would have scored there.

When the Yankees make the world series even newborn infants won't be surprised. Yay the baseball gods sucked off the Yankees again gifting them the AL. Are they the best AL team of whose left yes. Do they loose to either the Astros or Orioles also yes. Do the Astros and Orioles also loose to the Tigers and Royals, respectively, 9/10 times also yes. In short enjoy your customary/ almost free WS trip Yankees. It definitely will have felt to y'all as though it was infinitely hard to get there.

@@brianscalag.o.a.t3911 Look sir...In the post season how good you did in the regular season vs a team usually matters VERY little, you kinda throw that out come playoff time. That said the AL side of the post season was over after that replay in game 1 clearly showed to EVERYONE but Yankee fans, the replay crew,Umpires and even some yankee fans. That Jazz was out at second yet was called safe despite clear evidence to the contrary(I'll admit at best/worst games still tied but REPLAYS shouldn't be deciding games players should). Honestly don't play the ALCS or anymore ALDS games. Just put the Yanks in the world series wait for the seemingly fairly called NL side to wrap up. Honestly if y'all don't make the world series after that horseshit y'all may never make it again.

As a Yankees fan this is how I feel. I see all the lies. Remove Soto this season and we are a 85 win team. We don’t make the wild card. Soto was a bandaid, and all the good teams out gives another free pass to World Series, they can say we did our best and repeat. Expect next season it won’t be world series. This team longer term is F’ed

@bobdylan-t1r Its not even that,yes enjoy this year and yalls ride to the world series. Just after the baseball world saw that game 1 not be tied 5-5 and at least going to extras. My immediate thought was "oh wow really ...umm yea Yankees just won the AL ,God can't even intervene now to stop y'all from getting to the WS." Idk if y'all care at all or not, if y'all earn the trip to the WS or it's handed to you via calls from umps or replays that, about directly affect the outcome of a playoff game in your favor. For me that kinda ruined this series and almost ruined my playoff watching if not for the NL side being bananas (especially Padres v Dodgers). Umpires and Replay officials shouldn't be negatively affecting a game outcome by making wrong calls in the PLAYOFFS! Heck that's why we have replays to make sure we get a call right yet in that game alot of smarter than us people are wondering what y'all replay folks were looking at.

@@st3v018 to be fair, the absolutely horrendous foul call on what wouldve been an easy RBI triple by Soto more than makes up for the slightly bad call on the Chisholm stolen base. The replay showed the ball literally hitting the middle of the line and that call was statistically way more significant to the game even though both led to a difference of a run(either a run being scored that shoudlnt have scored or a run that shouldve scored not scoring)
