Peter Au hi Peter, I am glad that you find the video useful. I guess the reason the this video’s view is low is because that we originally streamed it on Facebook and a lot of the people watched it there already. But of course, sharing it around would definitely help boosting its view here on KZbin. Thank you very much for your support once again. This is exactly why I still make these videos.

hi Yankov, I would like to know what is the difference between white umbrella and sliver umbrella, isn't it just increase the power? thanks so much

Castor Chan the answer is no. 1. The spread of light will be lesser and hence higher contrast. 2. As the light is be reflected more “directly”, lesser diffused, the light would actually be a bit “harder”. This it is a bit confusing and quite heard for me to explains it only by words here, please forgive me. 3. Depending on the material used in the silver umbrella and also if the tension of it is well maintained, the silver umbrella is actually creating pocket of lights which is again, harder, smaller, and hence harder and harsher once again. 4. As the reflective material used changed from white to silver, even if you meter the output and make sure that the white and silver umbrella are give the same output, the surfaces of the silver umbrella will actually be “brighter” (again, hard to explain why here with only words), and hence, the “specular” reflection on the subject being shot would also be harsher, stronger, brighter. You asked a very interesting question that I think it might worth doing a separate video just for that. Thanks.
