I just purchased a yanmar 424 you said it comes with rear differential lock mine doesn’t have it.Why is this?

Did you buy it used? They didn't have the diff lock pedal until 2016 or 2017 I think. You can still lock the differential by lightly pressing the brake pedal, though it's not easy to do with it being on the same side as the hydro pedals.

@@Clarity5970 If it's a newer model I would think you could but I can't say for sure. You may have to talk to your dealer and see if they can put one on for you at Yanmar's expense. It may be something that was forgotten at the factory, stranger things have happened.

Wish there was a yanmar dealer near Garner NC. All we have is big green and orange. Looked at TYM but talking to a dealer whom dropped them said it's impossible to get anything from TYM. Can't sell what you don't have. Anyhow take care.

@@vone1914 Congrats! I hope it's everything you hoped it to be and lasts forever. Wish Sanford was a little closer. 1 hour drive is a bit much. I'm pretty much down to Deere or Kubota.
