Listen to this track but the Acropolis concert . It’s amazing with the orchestra and Yanni playing at the piano . Yanni is a treasure to this world .

I have around 20 Yanni CDs. This entire CD/Album is very listenable and in my top 5 of his albums/CDs. My favorite albums are "Keys To Imagination", and "Out of Silence", his 2nd and 3rd. His music is normally harder than this track but his songs will play tricks on your mind. From the offset, you think it is very mellow, but once you really listen to the depth of it, you will discover many facets of pleasurable melodies.

Live at Acropolis is your friend with Yanni bro... coming from a metal head... that performance is impeccable

One of those guys who fly under the radar of rock / pop world but have sold millions and fill arenas. I don't listen Yanni either regularly but am aware of his musicianship and being a major artist in his genre. "Rain Must Fall" and especially "Within Attraction" are more dynamic and driving. The 25th anniversary live version of the "Within..." is impressive and has some nice drums and percussion work that you might find interesting.

I went out with a Greek girl many years ago, and...the Yanni thing always comes up eventually. I found that it was safer to pretend that I liked it.

As morbid as this may sound -- when I die I want "Until the Last Moment" from Live at the Acropolis played at my funeral. It's that epic.

For those outright panning Justin’s decision to include this on the channel. Guys, did you even watch the video before commenting your disdain? Justin opens with an explanation why he’s doing Yanni and it is Mother’s Day weekend here in the States…

The things we do to make our mothers happy. 😄 My pick for the occasion: "Mother Dear" by THE DIVINE COMEDY (and no, it's not a cynical song).

It's beautiful and romantic. I think of Dan Fogelberg and Tim Weisberg's "Twin Sons of Different Mothers" album when I hear this. There are going to be people who hate on this really hard. I like beauty and romance as long as it doesn't get too sappy. This managed to just stay on the good side of that balance for me.

Yanni's best, most progressive, two songs are Nostalgia and Within Attraction. Here goes Nostalgia from Live in Athens: kzbin.info/www/bejne/mnaUoJKrir2HrNE

He has his market and has made a successful career for himself with this kind of stuff, but for me it lacks creative substance. It's a slice of saccharine and sentimental, pseudo classicism. The piece is innoffensive but fairly generic, and the piano with synthsized strings behind it is a standard preset on most popular keyboards. It's calming and pleasant as musical wallpaper and I get why it would be popular with certain demographics, but not what I would choose to do my ironing to 😊.

6:43 if it is referring to a soundtrack by Yanni, I suspect it is the album Antarctica (which is a masterpiece in my opinion)

To my knowledge the soundtrack Antarctica is by Vangelis and yes, it is a masterpiece.

Hello, I love your channel and your content. I would like to ask you to review the album Téo & Téa by Jean-Michel Jarre, the album is good to my taste, but it was very controversial in his discography. Thank you. Greetings from Chile!

I really love the first 3 albums (OK 4) by Yanni. Especially the first 3 have more progressive rock elements. After that it became a bit to sweet to my taste, too much easy listening. And frankly I haven't listened to the last several albums at all.

I usually prefer live tracks from Yanni. You could listen to lives from "Live at the Acropolis" ou "Tribute".

You might try "Niki Nana". That'll perk you up.

Does its job perfectly well, so it's good. (For me, more the kind of music where I want music - and not muzak - that doesn't get in the way playing, instead of silence - or metal to drown out the sounds of children laughing joyfully, and screaming and shouting even joyfuller (to use the latest most greatest form of English comparison more better than I used to.) It's nice when music allows you to think about something other than itself. For other times you might want *Martin Miller* who recently made *Something New* kzbin.info/www/bejne/a6HQepiZmpeaf9U (At a minimum, his guitar playing is worth a listen. Wait till the shredding gets going before making up your mind what you think of it.)

You need to listen to a bit of his ROCK!!!! Try Niki Nana from the concert done in China. Also try Marching Season with Charlie Adams on drums. You're going to have to find out for yourself as this is a very dry reaction and I'm not wasting my time finding links for you. They're ALL OVER THE PLACE. Get your homework done ... your mom is right.

This track is perfectly suited for a slow motion montage during a sappy romance film or maybe the music for a Summer's Eve commercial, but it's not the type of thing I would choose to listen to on my own.
