Hey guys! A historic moment for my channel (at least a tiny one). Stairway to Heaven has been my very first KZbin ever - horrible recording in terms of audio since it was filmed with an Ipad. I used to play Max Loh's arrangement for many years, my arrangement is heavily influenced by it. That's why I never wrote an own cover of Stairway to Heaven. I was happy with what has already existed. Times have changed and this cover is finally in my own collection :-) I hope you'll enjoy it! Recording process is already going on. nope i learn just the intro😂 sadly am not a pianist anymore😢but still i play now and then when something reminds me of how the piano sounds so good when u can play a good song

Nice! I've been watching a bunch of S2H vids looking for an arrangement like this. One with a good sound but not to crazy difficult. I will most likely pick this up from you when I'm ready. I have a couple in the que ahead of it but I think this is "the one!" Thanks!

Ive just started learning this. I was learning by another synthesia score but it got taken down for copyright reasons. I hope this one doesnt get taken down before I learn it, I might have to rip a copy if thats alright. I got my 67 year old classically trained female singer neighbour to sing the lyrics over this, it sounded amazing. cheers for the upload. is there a video of you playing this by any chance

Hi Andrew! You don't have to worry this will be taken down. It is a cover and should be protected through the content ID system (which sees this as Stairway to heaven). The original copyright holder remains and owns this video. But ripping is illigal, please don't do that. And it does not help me at all. If you wanna be safe, just check the description. That sounds weird to me. There are of course always ways for the original copyright holder to take down a video - if the uploader has no clear permition to upload it. But in the end, the copyright holder can monetize your video (content ID system), you don't earn anything with it (which makes sense, it is not your music). There are exceptations. Metallica e.g. allows to share income of cover videos with you. I don't earn money with KZbin yet since I don't have the monetization. But to make it short, Led Zeppelin can earn the full money with cover videos, like the one you are seing here. Deleting them would mean a loss, even if not much. So I can imagine it could have been a copyright protected cover that was taken down. Still one stays here, I am very sure. So I hope you're going to enjoy it!

@@YannickStreibert I just watched your vid, thats got to be one of the best piano versions of Stairway on youtube. nice house too. BTW Im a complete amateur on the piano, I can barley read sheet music, I find the synthesia versions much easier. So far Ive learnt Moonlight sonata and Cavatina. Im a professional musician, a member of the musicians union, as a scratch DJ. Ive got quite an interesting piano, a 130 year old Kaps, German made, that came out of a huge mansion, its got a very ornate walnut finish, Ill post a vid - kzbin.info/www/bejne/fpnTYaVurqdqbbc

I checked the video, it sounds very beautiful! And it seems the piano was really taken care of for that age. I know different examples. Sure, use the Synthesia video as much as you like and as you need it. I am not worried it will be taken down and if so, I can clear that for sure. What is your main instrument actually?
