I tried to learn guitar 🎸 long ago in 1964-65 but I just couldn’t do it. Wanted to learn drums 🥁 in Jr High School but they said only openings are clarinet but after a few weeks I gave that up in 1968. I realized that it's possible just by listening to the intro for the real version alone. Stairway To Heaven has the kind of sound that suggests that it could have just as well been composed as a piano piece. A beautiful song no matter how heavy and aggressive the electric guitar playing got as it went along.

If she tried to pursue the career of a classical pianist, she'd be living a nomadic life moving from venue to venue and she'd be competing for jobs with thousands of equally skilled classical pianists with credentials and accomplishments just as impressive as hers. That's the sad reality for anyone trying to make a career out of being a classical musician. It has just about the same high attrition rate as high school and college football players who end up playing in the NFL. In all honesty, she's probably making more money with her Patreon than she would be by performing classical music professionally. Also, I think her heart is more in rock music anyway, and it's good for an artist to follow their passion, otherwise they risk getting burned out.

I thought I played piano until I heard this woman turn a classic rock song into a beautiful piano concerto. Wow. Play on, Gamazda. Your teachers must be proud, as should you.

Beautiful, Alexandra. In 1995 I was fortunate to experience this live by Paige and Plant.
