That's why Einaudi is categorized as minimalistic. He's a virtuoso at making beautiful pieces with simple chords. If you want elaborated pieces, the classics are the ones.
Merci Yann!

There are six people so far whose brains must not be connected to their ears. How is it possible for ANYBODY not to love this piece? It is beautiful beyond compare, a stunning masterpiece that will echo throughout all eternity.
@mrgakozak8 жыл бұрын
Some of Yann Tiersen's pieces are deceptively simple. But that's the genius of them. He manages to get more out of one note, out of one musical phrase, than many artists have struggled to evoke in their entire careers. This is music at its very highest, the ultimate pinnacle of creative expression.

What is so special about Yann is that he has an absolutely exceptional feeling with the keys. Perhaps his compositions are not intricate mathematical calculations like Tchaikovsky and Chopin's music - yet they are still very hard to play as he does. I am an intermediate / advanced pianist and I still struggle on the fourth week to play Roc'h ar Vugale
@alexparent8606 жыл бұрын
Peter Sorensen Yann Tiersen’s music is really not hard at all. Heck I learned one of his pieces the other day in less than 10 minutes. His compositions are very beautiful tho.
@tudor336 жыл бұрын
@@alexparent860 I don't think it's that easy! This is what Peter was saying, that you really need to get into the melody. I find it that you need perfect timings for his music ( he really loves loops ), and the dynamics, that's a whole different story. You can listen to my version of roch ar vugale, and of course, there's the piano difference, but other than that his dynamics are noticeably different than mines. You should try and record yourself and listen to the melody after to get the difference! :)

I have difficulty! to transpose into words! what enlightened multi-instrumentalist and composer Yann Tiersen, both plays wonderfully grand piano / synthesizers / accordion / violin and still has time! available to make, subliminal soundtracks; Amélie, Good bye Lenin and more! fortunately I have most of your records physically! and I feel that emotionally! stay! creepy with certain compositions! has a style of being and being! that I really like! low-profile! Fortunately I have been following his career for years! and I went to see two concerts in Lisbon! which I will never forget! Thank you! even because you exist and your music is something that both makes me cry, and makes me smile! of the best contemporary musicians! of today (2020) for me on the same level! from "elite" by Ludovico Einaudi, Mychael Nyman, Erik Satie, Steve Reich and even the minimalist Philip Glass! & and more!
