For me, I wear slippers at home so that my legs don't come in contact with the cold floor tiles. I wear socks when I sleep and by doing so, I don't need a blanket even if it is chilly at night. When your leg is warm, your body is warm too. Overall, I think wearing socks to sleep is beneficial for me. So yeah, I think your vid makes sense. The other vid on the hair dryer is good too. However, I am not sure if doing moxibustion on the acupoints would be a better choice to introduce heat to promote Qi circulation. If heat is the healing element, then heat pads can do the trick too.
