First and foremost hugs are not sexual. It’s sad and disgusting that people are being subjected to complete denial of human contact while also conditioned to believe that anyone of the opposite sex serves one purpose and that is to be used as an object for your sexual gratification. Even worse is this leads to young people getting married so they have someone that they can use for that purpose alone . You are a human and humans need human contact. Stop viewing other humans as a means of sexual gratification and start viewing them like they have value . Lack of human contact leads to mental illness and depression. It’s healthy to have boundaries but this is too far . You are condemning single people to a life of desperation and loneliness because they might have an emotional experience which is also human nature. You’re hurting women, you’re hurting men and yourself

That was a really good video brotha aviol! your a very wise young man Im 22 myself.. and as young male the TRUTH is that it does get difficult.. even with having the Holy Ghost! the flesh is still there.. I truly believe that it will be worth it when someone waits for married. And then.. that's when you can put your hands around your (WIFE) hips as many times as you would like too.. bcs that'll be your women!! In your marriage bed won't be undefiled. God ordained it! Until the meantime, we just have to be patience give it time fellas...and ladies also! It'll be worth the wait🖒 and don't forget you're not waiting on the Lord he's waiting on you! He's trying to develop you some more into the man/woman that he wants you to become! Eli Castro I thought about that as well! I think we have to think with wisdom. As females, we may not feel lust but we do not know the feelings of the other person. I have a friend who I see as a brother but it still doesn’t seem appropriate as we are of the opposite sex and I myself, am single. And we must abstain from the very presence of evil and the scripture says for a man not to touch a woman. I would approach it with caution and prayer.

While I completely respect the standards you have for yourself and I think that's awesome! I don't exactly agree and I promise I'm not saying you're wrong because if God gives you a conviction then you need to stick to that, however, I think the scripture you used is about the intent. For example, my pastor hugs everybody! Women, men, married, unmarried, and the people in our church hug each other because to us it's a greeting. The principal at my school hugs the students and teachers also because it's a greeting or a good bye. (We side hug). If we're to use that scripture to say that hugging is something that is wrong because a man shouldn't touch a woman then you shouldn't shake hands either. And I'm not criticizing what you said, I'm being for real. You see, a lot of the letters to the churches were principles, not rule books. The church of Corinth was struggling with fornication so Paul told them it wasn't good to touch a woman, but that does not mean if two people hug each other that they have sexual desires in mind. I promise you when I hug my pastor or Principal there are NO sexual thoughts whatsoever. When I hug a guy friend there are NO sexual thoughts whatsoever because it's a greeting and it's in a setting with other people. If I were alone with a guy (which I hope would never happen) then no I wouldn't greet them with a hug because things that shouldn't happen can happen when you're alone, but you get what I'm saying right? The act of hugging someone is not what leads to sexual thoughts, it's the state of your heart. Especially when it's a side hug and it's not more than a second and your intention is to be friendly and show the person you care about them not *I want to go press my body against this person*.

Hey @Vessels! I understand what you’re saying. It’s impossible for me to address every idea that the Yapa238 vids could generate so I just kinda vibe with whatever I feel to let out/say. I say that because within this video I thought I clearly stated the possibilities of sexual thought occurring when two embrace. Now I say “possibilities” giving room for the sincere occasions where a guy and girl do hug and nothing happens or no thought are stirred. I truly believe that happens and have been in situations myself where I’ve hugged someone and everything was fine on both ends! I guess the theme of this video (which again, I thought I stated clearly but I do understand that the vids are pretty fast and it could be difficult to catch) is to suggest to error on the side of caution rather than anything else. Again, I do believe there are instances where two can embrace without anything “kicking off” buuuuuuuut according to the suggested teaching of the Apostle it wouldn’t be the bestest of things for that to be... Kinda get what I’m saying?

All sin is sin and God gives us forgiveness for our sins when we truly repent and ask for His forgiveness. After you sin (whether lust or other sins like that) you’re not heaven ready. BUT, if you repent and turn away from the sin, God will forgive you 1,000%

It’s not sin, though the Bible does say, “Now concerning the things whereof ye wrote unto me: It is good for a man not to touch a woman.” 1 Corinthians 7:1. But lusting after him and hugging him because of the lust you feel, that leads to sin. And that sin leads to death... “Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death.” James 1:15 The main issue is a lust issue and steering clear of possibly falling into lust. The Bible say, “Flee also youthful lusts:” 2 Timothy 2:22 When we see the possibility of us lust ahead, that’s when we need to flee, and if hugging him could cause him or you to begin to lust, it’s best to steer clear (“flee”) youthful lust. Make sense? Let me know! Hope this helps!

i got news for you dude, all you have to do is one sin to be infinitely guilty before God, it doesn't take a sexual sin, sin is sin, period, you're either forgiven or you're not, there is no such thing as a born again believer going to hell, everyone sins every single day, whether they are "married or not"...marriage isn't a ring or piece of paper either, no scripture for that, its a spiritual union, and the reason believers are exhorted to "have one partner" is its just good common sense not to sleep around, it has nothing to do with a believer going to hell, "flee fornication" lol thats in corinthians, they were sleeping with each others wives and just overall living very wild and carnaly, it wasn't really meant to condemn them, just to not make christ look bad, they had parties at church, they weren't acting mature at all, they were called babes in christ so context is important, but sin is sin, it doesn't matter if its sex or simply being a busybody, one sin sends an unforgiven person to hell, it doesn't matter what the sin is, and even thinking of a lustful thought is fornication and you do that constantly. all you have to do is think it.

alizarin What Paul was actually saying in 1 Corinthians 7 is that, while all sin is sin, different sins have different consequences. If I’m a busybody and then repent, the Lord forgives me, but I may still have to deal with problems I caused while meddling in others’ affairs. Similarly, if I commit fornication and sincerely repent, the Lord forgives, but I may have set off a chain of events with my behavior. While both are sin, committing fornication affects the physical body in a way being a busybody doesn’t, and can lead to very different results, socially and biologically. Even in the Old Testament, men who were moved by the Holy Ghost gave special warnings against sexual sin (Proverbs 5, 6, & 7).
