My darling father returned to Allah azzawajal 3 weeks ago today with covid. This series has been answering questions arising in my home daily and giving much needed guidance and comfort. May Allah azzawajal elevate you and preserve your work and grant my beloved father and those who have passed during this pandemic the highest abode in jannat ul firdaus. Ameen, Allahumma Ameen

Allah swt took back his biggest nemat from me ,my mother on 5 july 21 due to abdomen pain & internal bleeding due to over dose of heparin (blood thinner ) she was put on ventilator for 2days She died as shaheed. I pray to Allah swt to grant her highest rank in jannatul firdaus and Raise her as shaheed on the day of Qayamat. Make her grave spacious for her and give Her light in it. Oh Allah swt forgive her and have mercy on my walida (mummy) And grant her Safety and Pardon her & make honorable her reception & Expand her grave. & Cleanse her with water snow n hail & Purify her of sins as a white robe is purified of dirt ,Aameen ya Rabul Alameen.

Alhamdulillah, your episodes helped me a lot. It's like it came at the time I needed it most. 3 months ago I was involved in a ghastly car accident 5 Muslims died Including my Humble, lovely, and closest sister Fatima, She died while I was performing CPR but all was futile as Allah has decreed her death. As I was close to her body I could remember asking Allah to replace her death with mine, I sustained more injuries, I had to undergo series of surgeries but she is the one that died?. It was the hardest test of faith I have ever had. Fatima completes me, she is my confidant and motivator, I couldn't imagine a life without her. Alhamdulillah for your series. Alhamdulillah, she died with the shahada, She was listening to the Quranic recitation by Omar Ibn Hisham al Arabi when we had the unfortunate accident. I am sad she is gone but I am Happy that Allah took her in her best state of Iman and act. Nothing sounds great to me like the sound of her voice saying the Shahada. Please Include my sister in your prayers, may Allah increase the noor in her grave, accepts her martyrdom, and forgive her shortcomings. Ameen

My mum died battling cancer a little over two months ago. A day hasn't gone by without me remembering her or missing her and it hurts, lol. It's even a bit worse now cos I'm home on break from med school and literally everything in the house reminds me of her. My only consolation is that she said the Shahadah just days before her death. Alhamdulilah robbil alamin. Very few people are as lucky. I pray that Allah forgives her sins and grants her Al-Firdaus. I pray her death isn't the reason I derail but rather, the reason I continue to forge ahead to be a better person and thus, become a better Muslim. This series has really been a source of blessing to me since it happened as the videos answered most of the questions I had and comforted me. May Allah SWT bless Sh. Omar and the entire Yaqeen team. Yes what your are feeling is normal, everytime I step out, or do anything regarding the dunya I feel extremely guilty, so much so that my next two days would be emotionally very low. Losing my father has been the biggest blow. I even feel guilty of the fact that I'm alive.😔

Yes! I feel so guilty all the time, even when I think about the time my beloved father was sick. I feel so guilty and it is what's keeping me awake during the night. He died 3 weeks ago today subhanallah but the thing that comforts me is that "with hardship comes ease". His hardship was this dunya and his cancer and his ease came after his death in sha allah

I lost my 7-year-old daughter on February 9, 2024. She had been battling a heart condition since birth, spending most of her life in hospitals and on medication. The hospital became like a second home to us. She was an incredible daughter and a wonderful big sister. Both of her heart procedures were unsuccessful and led to more complications. In the end, she lost her life to influenza A. I know she is at peace now, and I hope to see her again one day, InshaAllah. But her final days haunt me. The pain, the seizures, the cardiac arrest, and hearing her call out ‘Mommy, Mommy’ while I couldn’t help-it crushes my heart every time I think of it. I felt so helpless. On the day she passed, for the first time, I asked Allah to free her from her suffering, instead of asking for her life. And that day, He took her.

Profound. It certainly works with people who have passed away. Wonder if it can be also for people lost, but who are still alive. Moving forward as opposed to moving on is very hard from that. It makes total sense as long as you don't land up living in the past but it's hard to carry the burden of love that does not get reciprocated.

its been a month since my mom left this dunya, doesn’t seem like she went far either . she had so much faith that she’d be here to see her kids grow up and Departing ways while i’m only 19 killed me inside really. it’s hard to accept that Allah SWT called my maa back to him when her kids were so young, and it’s hard to think that we’ll have to grow up without her presence next to us. This dunya truly is nothing but a test for the believers :/

My 15 year old brother passed away due to blood cancer at midnight. I feel like my world has completely collapsed. Everywhere around me, his memories are just floating around. His voice, his laugh, his dreams, his things. Still smells like him. He had been in the hospital for almost 2 months and kept wishing to come home but he couldnt even walk so my parents were very concerned. At one point, they all knew he will leave us one day but for it to happen so suddenly and for him to just be delusional and hallucinating the whole time? I hate that the first dead body i have ever witnessed had to be my little brother. He is a huge part of me. He always listens to me talk absolute shit and yet reciprocates like no other. At this point i honestly dk where to go. How do i see him? Am i supposed to just accept that we suddenly stop going to the hospital to see him? At least i could feel his warm body there. I could hear his heart beat. See his chest rise and fall. Now what?

My dad past away recently. He came into England as a teenager. He provided support to his family in Pakistan as well as his children. He got married in Pakistan in 1970, he came back to the UK and never returned. He supported his parents and his four brothers and also played a large part of getting them siblings married off. My grandparents along with his brothers didn’t appreciate him (I guess money is better than loving your eldest son). I can ‘t forgive my grandparents and uncles because they put a lot of responsibility on the shoulders of my dad.
