You are such a kind soul. Super video. The estate sale was like an art collectors museum. All of that lady's pieces were collected with love. I noticed a colourful chandelier in the ceiling almost at the end of that clip. My heart squeezed, I fell in love with it. What lovely lovely finds, and prices. That's where I would have spent ALL of my money. I feel that lady was the custodian of precious things, and now you are. Imagine all the stories each item has. Yesterday I stopped at a large second hand shop but didn't have money on me except coins. I found some pieces of jewellery in the scratch box. A long strand of garnets. Rose quartz earings, a necklace with amathyst beads. And a leather handbag. A few other bits. When I asked how much it was the kind man wanted 5 Euros for the lot. I saw so many special items I couldn't get. It is worth it to get all the things you see if you have the resources as it's a once off opportunity. Enjoy every single piece. Love from Germany.

Always keep a household magnet in your purse. When you need to know if a brass candlestick is real or brass plated iron use it to tell the difference. A magnet will not stick to real brass but it will stick to iron that is brass plated. There you go.

Ok well that traveller's estate sale was INSANE good - I spent a fortune! Everyhing you showed I'm like 'want it want it omg want it' 😂 If she travelled to the places these things are from she really did go all over! The glass beads are recycled glass, probably African, the wall hanging at 16:10 looks like Mongolia/Tibet, the sari (I think sarong) look Indonesia/Bali... Estate sales are another thing we don't have here in Australia so thank you for taking us along, even if it's frustrating I can't reach through the screen 😂 😂

The milk white hobnail glass pieces are vintage delights to see. White milk glass hobnail was made into everything from whatnots to eating vessels to lamps and other accents onto jewelry...very rare though. ...New subscriber here enjoying your great channel. Keep visiting all the great shops and locales. I'm a personal hobby collector of oil lamps and bowls and pitchers and always Victorian but open to any good looking stuff from any genre or era. I do like taking older smaller furniture pieces and making them look better but never new. ...You're a fun good channel host. Keep on keeping on!

My friends want you to take us to your haunts and hideouts for bargains! But we live in the deep south...oh well. ...Might I say that I'm the one who found your channel while surfing cyberspace and such at home while recovering from an accident. I can no longer walk like I did but I will recover well and walk well enough again to shop thrift/bargain stores and flea markets with friends. ...CoVid and lockdowns took our fun trips away but now we can do some flea markets and bargain stores within guidelines...my friends are doing this and I'll be able to next year. In the meantime I can shop with you through your camera and eyes. Many folks watch you for many reasons. Many folks depend on folks like you to handout little gifts of joy into their lives...your gifts of joy to them are the minutes and hours they feel not so alone. For those wooden leaves, you should tie string around the stems and hang them from a branch or a dowl rod! Like as part of a macrame or yarn hanging 😍

I don't know anymore people go on ebay & other sale markets and think their going to get band new prices for used items. I go for Fun and to put in my Home, not to resale. I buy an item because like it -love it.

The pinprick identification holds true for Indian brass which just flooded American markets in the 1970s. I recommend hunting for more antique brass candlesticks from England, they are more rare and will be stamped England or Made in England. The quality is fantastic.

Guuurl?!!! I bought that copper foil/paper dispenser from that yard sale on Vallejo way and I listed it yesterday. Then I made pit stop at Marie’s donuts at the other end of Vallejo (LP and Curtis Park, my old stompin’ grounds) I have a feeling we’re going to bump into each other out there one of these days.
