I really enjoy these shorter videos on days when I don't have time to watch a bunch of longer viseos. Thank you for doing this.

Isn’t it lovely that Sewing Bee has come round again. I have a friend in her early 80’s who does ballet once a week. She did ballet as a child and now does it just as a gentle form of exercise 😊

I'm watching this on the 11th of June. Just as you said it was raining I looked up and realised it was raining here so rushed out to get the towels in. Thank you Ali!

Hi Ali, my dodgy bag pin just arrived and I absolutely love it, thank you so much. My dad died of a brain tumour when he was just 34, I was 6 at the time, so pleased you chose that charity 😊 Thank you again Ali and happy crafting x

Love a cold roastie 😋 I have a Blue Fern Yarns AC coming too it looks fab. Good that you’ve found something you love 🩰 It’s so important as we women get older to keep strong and flexible as it can easily fall away.

I have some leg warmers in my Ravelry queue, because I like short socks but hate draughty ankles 😂. They are a knitted pattern and I have the yarn for them. In the 1980s I had a collection of leg warmers, especially good after doing pointe work 🩰 Lovely to hear the joy you are feeling from your classes.

lovely video today! that salad looked amazing. i love seeing all the different projects people are doing with the green lambkin yarn club. definitely yes to a pair of legwarmers for ballet, maybe you could make one of those cropped wrap cardigans that ballerinas seem to wear as well!

I bought some sewing clips to replace pins, I was pricked once two many...they are fab, don't pucker the material like pins and hold the material tight. I didn't know they existed until I watched your dodgy bag tutorials, my fingers are grateful x

Really pleased that you are enjoying your ballet fitness class! I’m sure it’s doing you good so don’t listen to the family mocking you! Just enjoy yourself and thank you for another daily vlog! I love Sewing Bee too xx

I started learning Karate in my late 30'a and continually got bruises. My Mom commented that maybe it would be better is I took up ballet😁. But I persevered and after about 5 years, got my Black Belt. So, you be you and make yourself happy.

I jumped in and bought my very first yarn advent. It’s from Yarn Cafe Creations. It’s the Sparkle Christmas advent inspired by Disney princesses. You get 24 (20)gram minis and a 100 gram skein of yarn in the color of whichever princess you choose. I chose Ariel. I’ve also never used fingering weight yarn before so this will be a treat for me.

Nothing wrong with doing dance as exercise! I started ballet as an adult 9 years ago because I didn’t want to go to a gym (I found it so boring and a chore)…dancing is another story…I find that the 1.5 hour class literally disappears and I’ve made so many very close friends…and also ballet gives you the excuse to make things to keep you warm for class 😉😉

Thanks Ali,,,,, I wind yarns like that,,,,, 🎉🎉🎉 ELAINE 🏠💗

Sorry to ask as silly question but I’m new! When you get yarn in those long skeins do you have to wind it into a ball before you use it? So with the advent ones do you have to do each individual one before you can knit/crochet with it? How do you do it? P.S love your videos really inspiring me!!

Hi Ali I'm new here! Can you explain yarn advents?? I thought it would be that you received 24 yarns in one lot at the end of Nov and you opened one a day in Dec. But i think it doesn't work like that??
