Thank you. I found you while looking for a left handed friend. But your instruction is just so patient and clear! I was wondering if you counted the knot on the picot.

The picot is formed by leaving a space between the knots, or double stitches. By making a picot, a double stitch naturally is formed following it. That double stitch counts as “1” in the next part of the pattern. I hope this makes sense.
