It happened to me when I met last year a man from gaza in switzerland and when he asked me from where I am... I naivly and happily told him I am his cousine and neighbour from Israel. He immidiatly changed his face and told me we shouldn't talk anymore 😢 Sadly, after oktober 7, I am now afraid to tell a muslim person from where I come from (in europe!!!). I still hope the day will come when we can all be free to be who we are without being afraid from each other.

Some of my old Americans Jewish classmates told me eventually... American Jews would need to flee to Israel one day. It is heartbreaking to hear, in the 21'st century an American cannot freely choose to live, in The USA due to race or religion. Safety is a top priority in any country for its citizens. I was 16 years old when my family and our extended family were expelled from Algeria. Everyone lived in harmony until certain arabs decided they wanted independence. After we all moved to France then slowly but surely the arabs started to invade. Years later it got so bad that my family had had enough and moved to Israel. Arabs have just about taken over France, they want things their way and if they don't get it they throw a fir and start riots. I could go on but I won't. People in the West have no idea what went on and for what reasons.

I have been watching a good many podcasts with former special service personal over the last year, and researching their stories and the people in their stories. Needless to say perhaps not coincidently, i have traced many of the most radical of the last 2 decades, back to either of these places. There is an ideological problem we absolutely need to be discussing. We can't do it here without censorship. I am even doubtful this comment will go through, mentioning the places i have. I have been fervently spreading the same message since before Black Saturday. I am constantly censored. It is up to platforms and people like you to talk about it and do it for us. ❤

I want to hear more of her story. Surely... if anyone has an answer it will be people like her. There's nothing I can do about people hating me when they've never even met me. I didn't do anything to warrant the hate so there is nothing I could do differently. The hate is entirely one-sided. Jewish people do not teach their children to hate Arabs or anyone else. We don't talk about them at all. Israel has tried to make peace in every way they can think of. They refuse to accept any world where we exist. That's the one area where no compromise can be made. How does one negotiate peace with someone who wants nothing except your head? I lost faith that it's possible.

With all due respect to Prof. Abramson, I find that Religious Jews Historians tend to minimize the differencies between Islam and Judaism because Islam has view of Monotheism closer to Judaism than Christianity in regards to the Trinity, but at the same time overlook the extreme antisemitism than Maimonidies himself wrote about. Maimonidies called the Muslim Persecution of Jews worse than the Roman Persecution of them. True, the Jews suffered under Christianity in Europe, but at the sametime the Christians share the Tanakh which is implausible interpret as not being a Covenant between God and the Jewish People to live in the Land of Israel, and in fact there are a number of Christian Denominations that interpret the Tanakh in this way. Muhammad's Quran, on the other hand, simply read is like a Martin Luther polemic against the Jews.
