just a heads up, please be careful when the girls start school, going places near your house, etc. that you don’t give too much context on your neighborhood and about where logan works, especially given that the kids are in a co-parenting situation- there’s some real creeps out there that might try to use that information against you. i’m a gymnastics teacher and having separated custodial parents can make things a little more complicated, but having an online presence heightens that 10 fold

Sending you love and positive energy during this new chapter in your life. 💕 I have a gut feeling that you and Logan will find your way back together. You can see that you both still love each other deeply. My husband and I got married when we were very young. I was 19. We got divorced when I was 22 and got back together 10 years later. We have been remarried for almost 12 years. I am glad for that experience because we both grew, had life experiences that we wouldn’t have otherwise had if we were together and found ourselves. I know it was necessary in order build a foundation for us to have a healthier relationship now. I wish you both the best.

Hey! I’m studying Early Childhood education in college and I’ve read lots of family statistic articles. With families who go through divorce they say they’ve seen as long as you can provide a healthy and enriching environment where the kids feel loved, it doesn’t have to be traumatic for your kids in the long run. So as long as you stay focused on doing what’s best for them and loving on them everyday (like it seems you guys are already doing) they won’t grow up doing traumatic childhood checks on tik tok :) Parent splits are just a hard thing to get “right” because of the parents going through it themselves doesn’t really provide any patience or excess of love. You’re doing great Yasmyn, I was happily surprised when you mentioned you and Logan realized you needed to put your own “beef” aside, that’s a hard thing to own up to and even harder to execute. I hope you really take the time to be independent and pursue you’re hobbies, much love! ❤

I agree, while mine did not involve a child I went through something similar. I was with my bf for about 2 years and we decided we needed a break, and going 3 months without talking, and then finding our way back to each other really made us realize we are meant for each other. Now we are engaged and I’m Yasmyn’s age. If they are meant to be they will be together! And I hope they do!

I’m super proud of you baby girl! I’m 46 & abt 5-6 yrs ago I was taking care of my dying dad & stumbled upon your page & have followed your growth & journey since. You helped me escape my troubles so Thank You. I’m amazed at your intelligence, kindness & strength tbh. When I was your age I was totally naive to everything. My trauma took me down the drug road for abt 15 yrs. I can tell you ppl do recover & rebuild relations so there is hope. Pls never stop hoping & praying for your mama. I know it isn’t easy to forgive. Just know your mama’s addiction has nothing to do w you- it’s how she is trying to deal w her own trauma. All you can do is learn from her behavior & continue being the best mama to the girls & talk openly abt life (age appropriate of course) w them bc it makes parenting a little easier. Kids are smart- they hear & see things all of them time. I have been married for 23yrs & separated from my husb for 9. LOL. We are very much best friends & co-parent so well. We’ve always made a great team since we were 19 yrs old. Our son was in the 4th grade when we split & it was so hard at first & once we decided this wasn’t abt us anymore it became easy. We spend almost every weekend together, holidays & even vacay together. It’s been what works for us & a healthy, happy relationship for our son to witness despite not being “together”. Just keep doing the best you can for what works for y’all . Find new hobbies, talk w friends & family & enjoy your life. Take time to find what you like in life. Healing is a journey. Much love 💕 .

You are amazing making girl for your age, I’m so sorry you had to skip your childhood because of your Moms problems, you are breaking the mould girl and this Momma is so so proud of you! I think this is good for you and Logan, you may go your separate paths but you may get to know each other all over again as adults who knows. Some adult who supposedly have their life together don’t deal with breakups and put their children first! So the fact you are doing this just shows how mature you are. You deserve every happiness and success ❤

You are SO smart for not spilling the details of your breakup. "Exploiting" was the best word you could have used. That's exactly what other content creators do..they hurt people & exploit all the details for views and money. Why would people post that online knowing they have children & those details could potentially hurt them and change their views of their parent. Seems like you both are mature and acting within the best interest of your girls. Great job

I was told as long as you two aren’t constantly talking about feelings/ getting back together. It’s all good. You can talk about your days even. You two just need emotional space within the relationship. I’m also not living with my “ex” and we see that as our space. He does do sleepovers for here sometimes too. In terms of the struggle between forgiveness.. and feeling angry.. it's a really understandable way to protect you from a constant state of sadness. It's so hard, because it's such an ongoing and unpredictable situation with your Mum.. and the fallout is so large- you, your Siblings, your Grandma etc. You'd benefit so much from therapy. And you deserve the peace and acceptance that therapy would bring you. I'm one of the people who has been caught up on you labelling yourself a single Mum.. I am now at the end of the video.. and can see how hard this is for you.. and I'm really sorry.. and will back off. You are a very strong, talented, wise, intelligent and beautiful girl.. and an extraordinary Mum. This is a new Season.. and you have soo much to look forward to. I completely relate to your relationship with your mum . My dad was not the parent i needed him to be and when i was about 19 he broke my heart when he basically told me he didnt care to fix the relationship. It took me a long time to tealise that i couldn't make him change to be who i needed gim to be and that i just had to accept it and get on with my life without him. He died just before christmas last year and for the last year he was alive he was very sick. I had a lot of people telling me i should go and see him, forgive him, mend the rift, but for me, it was way too late. I had spent so long becoming ok with not having him that i didnt want to reopen those wounds. And i was right. I dont regret not seeing him. I hope you can get to a place with your mum where you can be ok with her not being the mum you need without it breaking your heart ❤

This is what happens kids play house. You didn’t realize the responsibility is actually is and now you have not only 1, but 3 children. I know you never plan on breaking up, but children are involved. Not even mentioning that that children of teen parents most likely get pregnant as teens. You both also showed, that it is ok get pregnant as a teen intentionally. With that being said I think it’s better that you broke up rather than suffer together and with children, all I’m saying is that partially you “asked” for it by jumping into the stuff you were too young for. What u r saying is so “normal” for your age. You need to figure out YOU. It’s ok. The kids will be fine. They suffer when things aren’t ok. You are doing a great thing. Stay strong! It’s abt ❤

Girl you need this for your mental health. You never got to experience being a normal teenager. I’ve been watching you since you were first pregnant, I’ve seen you grow up. You’ve had such a hard life and never got to make true best friends. On top of not having any support of raising your girls besides logan. It’s a lot to deal with. I’m the same age as you and I have some personal struggles going on, it’s hard for me to deal with but it’s not even near close to how you’re has been. I couldn’t imagine being in your position. Stay strong Yasmin ❤❤

Forgiving is one of the hardest thing to do, I think that’s why God requires it in order for Him to forgive us. I know that your hurt from your mom is one is prob super hard to forgive bc it’s affected you so deeply, so just take it slow and ask God to help you with that, with time you’ll get there ❤ love you and I pray that your guided to healing and fulfillment 🙏 you’re a good mom and at least you know that your girls and sisters could always count on you! The unknown is scary but also am adventure 😊 God bless you sweet girl!!! Hoodies are always nice!!

I just listened to your music and you are amazing!! Such a beautiful way to deal with all the emotions you are going through right now too! You should talk about your music making process and about the lyrics to the songs you already have out

Take this time to find you. You’ve said in the past there was always some guy in your life. And, as you said if things are meant to be with you and Logan then they will be. Take this time to feel being young. And learn the difference of being or feeling lonely versus choosing alone. As a young mother myself I struggled with overwhelming loneliness, even though I had a large group of friends and family around me. Within your struggles of everyday life you will also gain the strength to endure that which binds you. In that you can then move forward. Remember, forgiveness is for your spirit in as much as it is for another. And as much as you wish things to be better with your mom, it takes two working to make a good relationship. You will never forget. To much pain has continued between that relationship. Find your passion (outside of your family life) and learn what you need to make it happen. You rock “Single Mom”.😎

Why say this? I mean I'm sure she knows... But it probably doesn't feel that great hearing others speak about it. Plus it could of just been a friend but saying it like this could lead it to seem like more. Just saying... We don't need to throw it in her face.
