As much as I would want my nation to excel and exceed….we are miles behind the Chinese. I was there recently during a fair and despite such huge crowds at metros, everyone was so disciplined, keeping safe distance in queue and inside the train. They are respectful and aren’t noisy in public spaces. We lack this mentality and lack respect for other people. Development is fine, but we can truly develop and have a clean nation when we have a collective change in our mindset and conduct.

We can keep hiding the original facts but you have to accept that China is gifted with huge land base like America which has all some of the most unique natural resources. That itself has made them unique. Trying to become manufacturing hub is one thing, but getting the raw materials from ur own land is another thing. That boom is what is the real growth which we cannot match since we dont have that much minerals or natural resources and even if we have we cant mine it immediately due to environmental protests, tribal protection etc etc. If China has something it will 100% exploit it. I recently made a journey in a 3AC Economy coach of Indian Railways,it seems to me that the berths in this Chinese train are narrower than the 3AC Economy coaches, the six berth coupe also seems a little more cramped.Just an observation,not trying to be critical.Overall efficiency and cleanliness are miles ahead of India.👍👍👍from India.

Not just this train in particular, hard sleeper berths are actually narrower compared to Indian train sleeper berths. Soft sleepers are a little comfier. The coaches have lesser capacity as they are shorter in length compared to Indian train coaches.
