Arabic is so hard to learn, each Arabic country has its own dialect (very different from accents) it’s a complete different variant. I speak khaleeji Arabic and I barely understand Lebanese/Jordanian dialect. And what’s taught in Arabic classes is what’s kinda like “classic” Arabic which is not spoken on a regular basis. Maybe for school work and a professional setting since everyone that understand a full dialect can understand classic, but someone that understands classic might not understand a national dialect

Poor Uncle Muhammad has just helped a trickster gain leverage in his family's life. Though these types of things are my daily life. I am married into an Arab Muslim family. I was only a Muslim for 5 months when I met them. I married 3 months later and didn't get to know them. I am hitting my second year next week and my life is miserable.
