It's sooo interesting how similar our thoughts are while prepping our food. "thankful for running water, thankful for the workers that till the soil," etc. I've never heard anyone else speak this way! Its very comforting to know I am not alone!

I have very similar eating habits ... I eat when I’m hungry but I am vegan - no animal products for 16 years, vegetarian for 15 years before that. I am 65 and had a child just before my 41st birthday. I’ve weighed about the same for most of my life. I had a simple, beautiful pregnancy and breast-fed him as well. I lacked good sleep for much of life ... it’s the one thing I would change if I could.💜

We have similar lives. I had my son when I was 40. I breast fed my sone for a little over a year. I haven’t eaten a lot of meat but I did have some bad habits I’ve been plant based Now. I’m around the same weight since I was 16. ( except when I was pregnant lol). She really is amazing. I was a model and most of them and the agencies encouraged terrible life styles. Nice to see two women like me.

I pitty this generation.. They dont enjoy food they think of it as protein,carbs, fats and count calories and panic. They dont enjoy movement and walking ! they count steps and monitor heartbeats and calories spent they even started obsessing about sleep and rpm Few know how to simply enjoy living

That's your opinion, "this generation " is obsessed with self care.
@celine86634 жыл бұрын
I think it is really sad that you think that way about „my generation”. It might seem that we are all about the technological way of acknowledging self care, but that is not only an issue of our generation, it is a problem of our whole society that everyone no matter what age is possibly suffering from. Me myself discovered the beauty of acknowledging my spirit and my own rhythm but I needed to go through all of those things, you see so negatively. Also, you should really rethink if this negative mindset is helpful in any way. Maybe if it seems so bad to you, you should try to show “my generation” why it might be helpful to step away from relying so much of the technological advantage we have.

I agree Sophia. Modern life is leading most younger generation in to soulless obsession of data, even when it comes to the most natural of things like walking, swimming and sleeping. Its terrifying how competitive everyone is getting now that they can and will broadcast every little bit of their lives on social media platforms. What ever happened the personal private mindfulness , which comes naturally.? Enjoying life without scrutingnising it to bits. So sad to see, but it's not for me ....... Find comfort in the fact that you have found a paradise of your own, , media free, data base and gadget free , natural corner of life . Do what you feel is right, never mind OTHERS . Like you say Sophia ENJOY , the simple way 💚💚💚💚💚💚💚💚💚💚

When I do not eat added sugar, I do not need to eat much. Eating sugar turns on the part of my brain that wants me to be addicted to sugar.
@sweetpeace54 жыл бұрын
Yep insulin resistance is prob one of the most critical health concerns for Americans. It’s Type 2 diabetes & completely avoidable. It comes from too much sugar, fructose (the literal devil) simple carbohydrates: flours, processed foods. Sugar is highly addictive & keeps the body craving more. Low carb from complex veggies & fruit only berries: raspberries, blackberries, strawberries (all fruit/veg must be organic) and high amount of healthy fats: nuts, seeds, olive oil, avocados and moderate protein from grass fed/grass finished meat only. Keto is a great way to jumpstart healthy fat loss.

Living in gratitude by thanking all that is involved in what it takes to get something to the table to eat is a spot on attitude. Processed foods are absolutely an attack on the body, planet and soul. A drug, a addiction very sad what has happened to the food industry to make a buck at the cost of the planet and our lives. I love the way Yasmina goes with intuition for her needs, we are not robots that have to follow a clock. So true about foods we are told to avoid. Many times an author is selling a diet plan and tells you avoid, avoid! So tragic. Best I know of to follow if one needs the education is Valter Longo book on longevity. Basically fasting and eating primary veg, nuts fish. This is a very comprehensive 30 year study. Fasting can be waiting 12 hours between meals, very simple. Forget this Keto, paleo, no fat, no carbs fad diets. No wonder americans are so ill! This woman is spot on, just look at her. I am the same, people do not believe my age. Food is medicine! Go with your natural cycles, not be ridged and controlling. Love this woman, so well said!!!! Every single then she speaks of is absolute truth. Listen and learn!! Thank you for being here beautiful lady.

Thank you for your honest advice. You appreciate your food & life in general. Everything in moderation & mostly listening to your body. Some people fail to understand that everyone has a different system & needs. Whether a person eats meat or not, eat what you need for your body. Be responsible & know where your food comes from. It’s been proven that plants have feelings as well, so does this mean we can’t eat them as well? There are certain nations that rely on eating animals for survival. The food is blessed & appreciated. People have to stop being so judgemental & pushing their views or beliefs on others. You are wise & I thank you for that wisdom. I don’t think it was an accident I came across your video. Keep loving life 💓🌺

A-ha, that' s the answer! You just don' t want to eat, that's why you don't. Unfortunately lots of people want to eat, and me as well, and eat much. What if when I have time to listen to my body it screams" eat as soon as you can, grab this burger, the more, the better". Or having children you can't choose time for your meal, even though the body says something to you? What's the point if you can't listen? 🍇🌰🍔🍟 Love!
