I saw them in Brighton and I'm pretty sure Andy Bell was there too. If I had been him I would have reacted the same way. It was my favourite live music show ever.

Just listen to 100 different/versions/remixs of Only You trying to find Alison putting in the same kind of vocal strength that she does and don't go as heard in this video... And I can't find one version. She sang that song just slow in every single version out there and it's one of those songs that if she could have sang it with her heart behind it and a bit of anger and regret are the past just one time it could have been so so good. I mean I do love the original which is why I'm trying to find that version out there... Because it would be better.

I wish they would keep producing brand new music and making tours ... I know that Erasure's fan are going to shoot at me BUT i actually think that Yazoo still have much more to say than Erasure, in current musical scene ... !!!

Alison is a great singer. I remember seeing her perform on the jack Dee show. How come her career never took off. Look at Adele Alison is a far better singer ❤

didn't realise they had a reunion??
@rexel6665 жыл бұрын
After this tour he never produced any new songs with Moyet, as he suggested he would in this video. Maybe she got on his nerves again.
@coach414 жыл бұрын
It's been said many times that the reunion happened because the other half of Erasure wanted to take a break. That gave a chance for Vince and Allison to work together. By all accounts, Yazoo is done as Allison got her wish for some reunions and the second album songs were presented. Will something happen again in the future? Never say never but Vince doesn't seem like the type to keep looking back.

These comments below ??? Vince is the brains and Moyet the voice . However when they split Alison was finished .. Vince went erasure and global!

Alison was finished? Are you just trolling?
@5UhrMorgens7 жыл бұрын
Well. How about trying to spell my name correctly? And secondly, i've never said anything else than she HAS a career of her own. I was just asking Marc Hill if he was trolling.
@88feji6 жыл бұрын
Alison Moyet's sales figure is almost the same as Vince Clarke's having 23million records sold, she had a bunch of top 5, top 10 and top 40 songs just like in Yazoo ... she's considered by many to be one of UK's best female vocalists of all time ..
@justinbarber5463 Жыл бұрын
I know it's a very old post but I'd have to agree with Marc. Vince did leave her in the lurch. She would probably have been better staying at Mute at least initially. However she got dragged into a quagmire of greedy people who had her recording shite. She's a better singer than Adele and should have shifted easily over 100m records if not double. Instead she was mistreated and just ended up fighting record companies. Forgetting record sales Vince has a massive worldwide live audience today where the money is. Alison doesn't but considering she is a very good songwriter too she was definitely mismanaged after Yazoo. Without doubt the greatest voice of last 50 years.
@JonnyBoyMach214 жыл бұрын
It would have been ironic if Andy Bell had objected to the re-union. Especially as he's made a career out of impersonating Moyet . . .
