It's amazing how much food ties to good memories! I'm so pleased you had this wonderful chance to not just reunite with your family, but your childhood memories. I have to admit to a bit of envy. I know the goodbyes make you cry, but rejoice in the fact that there is so much love there. BTW...your grandmother's sister is known, in America, as your great aunt. 🙂 And I know that Amber misses you, too!

Grandmother's sister would be your Great-aunt I believe. YB promoting the Ramen High club. Germany, Korea, will we get to see you and Herbert exploring more of the world or just America in general? though less than Iconic locations, it seems that the food is more of a priority...understandable.

Awe…..YB! It’s so emotional having to say bye to someone. Especially your parents. So sweet! I really enjoyed your videos about Korea. The food looked delicious. I got super jealous because I can’t get Korean food where I live. I have to drive an hour and a half away to get it, so I don’t get to eat it often. When I do though, I eat way too much at the restaurant, and I go to the Korean market that is conveniently next door to the restaurant, and buy a lot of groceries to bring home!

To help you out because I know it can be confusing sometimes for people, your grandmother's sister is your mom's aunt so for you, she would be your great aunt. Other than your direct relative (mother, father, grandparent) whatever that person is to your parent it would be the same but add great for each generation. If your grandmother's mother was alive she would be your great-grandmother. It seems like that trip was very fast but it looks like you enjoyed time with your family. I am seeing my mom tomorrow for a week. She moved away and it's been about 8 months since I last saw her but that is the longest I have ever been not able to see her in my life and it's nice to be able to see her again. I hope you can go back to visit them sooner than later and be able to bring Herbert with you :)
