1. Akshay's problem is not just remakes but over exposure, too many back to back projects and lack of commitment too. There is not even enough hype around his films 2. Malayalam Drishyam 2 dubbed in hindi is available in youtube itself. But still people watched the hindi version because of its starcast and apt adaptation to the regional audience. Btw, Akshay Khanna is phenomenal in it

Main ek struggle krti filmmaker hoon and I copied a lot of films when I was a new writer as I was a 13 year old but upon joining college, I started brainstorming and writing nicely(not as great as my fav filmmakers but atleast better than before) but agar mere gharwalon meri kisi kahani mein ek bhi plot point kisi unknown ya known film se milta julta ho to phir my mother decleares ki tum copy kar rahi ho.😂😂 Like I have an of a girl falling for a dead person, so my mother said that you are copying from Irrfan Khan movie Rog jabki my movie was from a complete different genre like Rog was a thriller and my idea is a romantic drama. Also I have thought of an idea on Surrogacy and mother being attached to the kid, but Malayali filmmaker Sibi Malayil made a movie in 1989 named Dashratham(I did not know about that movie when I got the idea). Also one of my short film is similar to Sibi Malayil's 2003 named Endu Vente Appuyettam but that movie was dark and tragic revolving around a kid and newborn sibling. I am a Priyadarshan fan(maybe that's why I have this trait) but I think that my thinking is similar to Sibi sir.❤ I am not trying to copy but people don't understand before declaring it a copy of any film, though I have seen or not seen or heard about the film.
