Welcome guys! First of all, enjoy my reaction to Stranger, it was again mind blowing! some of you might know already from my last poll, but I'll do monthly Dimash reactions from now on. For some of you that might seem like not much at all, but let me explain. As I have a fulltime job and side job, I can't produce more videos per week in my current situation. Dimash is a phenomenon from Kazakhstan. He started singing lessons at 5 years old and was found to have perfect pitch. He is University educated with degrees in classical and opera, another in contemporary music, pop, and jazz was a major in Vogel technique. He also completed a Broadway musical master class. On June 18th, 2020 he completed his masters specializing in composition and received his master's with honors having achieved the maximum score of 100%. He has since started his Ph.D.

Dimash is a perfectionist and a workaholic. In interviews on Kazak TV, he stated that he wakes up at 5AM (7 days a week). By <a href="#" class="seekto" data-time="330">5:30</a>AM he has begun doing 3 hours of vocal exercises (scales, arpeggios, lip bubbles, etc..). That is before he even begins his workday in the studio or at rehearsals for a concert. To improve his lung capacity and breath control, he will either swim laps in a pool for 1 hour uninterrupted or hit the treadmill for a 5k run. Sometimes, he will substitute that for a full-on 90 minute soccer match with his mates and their team. (He has good ball skills as you can see here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/oaXCnaKhhL9_jdk ). He doesn’t drink, either! He will often work 12-14 hour days. He says he hates vacations. Dimash is the real deal when it comes to showing how hard work and dedication will make you succeed!

Another great reaction and analysis. Dimash premiered his newest song "Stranger" on August 19, 2021, during his performance at the annual New Wave music competition in Sochi, Russia. He once again performed with Igor Krotoy on the piano and introduced Olzhas Qurmanbeck on the kobyz. It is an amazing performance, one of, if not the best to date, in my humble opinion. Igor Krutoy composed the music, American poetess Sharon Vaughn wrote the lyrics, and Dimitris Kontopoulos (Greece) and Yerlan Bekchurin (Kazakhstan) did the arrangement. Igor Krutoy is quoted as saying that “it was Dimash’s talent that inspired me to write this song, his immense vocal abilities and his desire to sing for a large international audience. Franky, I don’t see anyone else who could perform this piece in such a way.” When Dimash first listened to the melody of "Stranger" he felt that the addition of a kobyz to the musical arrangement would give the song a unique, yet very fitting sound. Thus, the kobyz made its debut at the New Wave Hall at the Sochi Olympic Park, and what a great choice indeed. It is a beautiful sounding instrument that seems to underscore the song’s deep meaning. This wasn’t the first time that Dimash has featured Olzhas Qurmanbeck playing the kobyz. I agree with a Dear that said Dimash is very addictive. Once you start you can't stop. Also he is a artist to watch perform, not only hear. About him as person...well, he is an extraordinary human being. He is not only illegally talented but he has a golden heart, he is a pure soul, he has united people from all over the world in a Dears family, an extension of his real large family. Dimash is an educated guy, with excellent social skills, he is polite and kind, his behaviour is coherent with his values and principles. He is funny, he can act silly on purpose to make us laugh. He greets Dears almost every day by Instagram, telling us what is he doing and wishing us good day and good night. Dears feel him as family, we love him so much and pray for him and his family daily. Stranger is an epic song with touches of medieval, Gregorian and even a march together. I love Dimash’s different voice textures specially the Middle East vibes in those riffs and runs 🎤❤️🔝🎼👏👏👏👏👏👏 At the end of the performance Dimash introduced Olzhas Qurmanbek, the Kobyz player. On August 19, 2021, Dimash sang two songs at the opening of the New Wave Festival in Sochi (Russia). The first, already known "Your love", and after it the new "Stranger". The Kobyz is a gorgeous instrument. And the way Olzhas Qurmanbek plays it is nothing short of masterful. It’s two strings and you don’t press them to the neck, instead you apply tension or release as needed. One string plays the melody, while the other is for resonance. I’m a double bass player so this instrument fascinates me 🙌🏼🦌🇨🇦💜🇰🇿

Remember this about Dimash that is different than any excellent vocalist, Dimash sings in every register within 8 octaves. Remember within those notes any note he sings he can sing that note with more than 10 techniques. His education before he made his way to the singer competition in China as the first person to sing in 2017 the song sos he already had 2 masters in classical and contemporary music, a masters class in Broadway singing. And Dimash is an athelete singer and his physical body he’s an athelete too in swimming, soccer, and a red belt martial artist in taekwando. Dimash is also a high fashion model. He has been on the cover of men’s health magazine. He is a maestro prodigy in everything he touches

Great reaction! And I really enjoyed your other reactions too. Have subscribed to your channel. I know people suggested many different things. But my suggestion is that first checking the original song Ave Maria sung on the same stage with Stranger two weeks ago, then going back to his performances in the singing competition I Am Singer 2017 (Opera 2, Autumn Strong, Show Must Go On, Adagio, Day Break). He was already unbelievable then. Then go with his more recent songs in which he collaborated with Igor Krutoy (Ogni Pietra, Love Is Like A Dream, The Love of Tired Swans, Ti Amo Cosi, Mademoiselle Hyde, Know, Passione). It's amazing to see how he still learns and progresses, and the result of his hard work showed in the New Wave 2021.
