Nice decklist! What are the cards that you often cut when you side? I mean, every match up is different, but i feel like some cards always go out in the second and third game.

To be honest, this isn't really that helpful, but for frogs there aren't really cards that necessarily always come out, it's more like cards that frequently come in. It's hard to say because a lot of decks in the format side for their opponent's deck, but frogs are the exception because they're the strongest game 1 deck and that means they side for your opponent's side. A lot of stuff is contextual to matchup. For example, against DDV decks, DDV decks and oppression decks actually tend to overlap a lot so I usually board out at least a fader against those decks. Same with a copy of Junk because Junk also loses to both oppression and ddv and it's also weak to crow. However, if I board out a Junk then the e-call comes out too because my warrior ratio for the ROTA goes from 4 to 3 making the e-call dead more often. I'm not sure if that's completely right though because seeing Stratos is pretty important. Just making decisions about boarding out cards that lose to the side board hate you anticipate is the most important things for frogs. The only thing I'll say is that you absolutely should not board out the engine. Specifically, I don't think you ever board out any number of treeborn, swap or sub. There's some specific matchups where dupes are kinda useless though. Like I don't keep dupes in against dragon turbo.

@@SunnyYGO thank you for the response. Yesterday I've played the deck and the only game I've lost was because 2 my misplay for an error time calling.. I hadn't play to win, but to mantain the Life point in my advantage, and with no time calling, my plays was bad. Hovewer the deck in busted, maybe I can think more when I side out the cards, because I want to put in a lot of side cards but in reality, there's not the necessarity.. Sorry for my bad english, I'm italian 😂

Do you think 3 fader or 2 fader and 2 troar is better? Troar is kinda bad in certain matchups and gives your opponent information that they may not be able to press you for game that turn. I like the surprise of fader but you have a lot more experience than me in the deck for sure.

Well done and I like the fact that you use era correct rarities. I have a question about mst. As of right now I play 3x junk 2x evil guy and 1x allure in my hero frog deck. Should I cut 1 prodigy or 1 junk for the mst?

It's hard to say which one you should cut because all of them are special summons that play into oppression which is the purpose of main deck MST. I personally played the ratio of 2x junk and 2x prodigy before the ratio of 3x junk and 1x prodigy, but it depends how many trigger summons you have in the rest of the deck. If you have a lot of other pressure summons like Raiza or DDS or Heroes then I think you can cut down on a Junk. Both are probably okay though.

Thank you so much! I brought the hero engine because I like it lol. There's no deeper reason. I could talk about how I personally think the Hero build for frog is the best in my opinion because 1) it has the widest threat range 2) it is the most resilient to specific side board hate like mask, ddv, fossil dyna 3) it has the most extenders among the frog builds but the reality is just that I love heroes and I love frogs and because I love the the archtypes so much, it will always be my favorite deck. I also think even if I'm wrong that it's the best frog deck, it's close enough to the other top builds that it doesn't really matter if it's the best or not. If you're playing one of the best decks in the format, then it doesn't really matter what you choose because everything is close enough at the highest tier that you can win with pretty much anything among the top 10ish decks.

Lately I've faced many BWs and the matchup is usually hard, do you miss cards in the main like Dark Dust or Mobius? Talking about the side in general, do you take out the whole Hero engine and 2x Junk Synchron to play around Deck Devi and Oppression? Sorry for the disturb 😁

What makes scapegoat great in the frog mirror?

It's because most frog builds are low in card activity, so it's hard for them to clear all 4 goat tokens efficiently or have ways to punish goat tokens in general as opposed to decks like blackwings which can pierce through for damage. If you resolve goat in the mirror, they almost always need to spend multiple turns (unless they play dark dust spirit) to start clearing them all which means you block a lot of attacks or you force them to commit resources or leave themselves defenseless or without offensive pressure for many turns. Aside from the defensive utility, having sub + goat is also really strong against the frog mirror because it gives you multiple swaps in hand + forces a pressure commit on the dupe lock so you usually end with 4 waters in hand which is really just 3 pressure summons and your opponent will almost never be able to match that. Also there's no solemn or oppression in frog decks obviously and they're likely going to side out mst and not side in dust which makes the scapegoat pretty much guaranteed to resolve.
