Just an add-on: Chaos Hunter actually doesnt prevent Evenly because that makes you banish your cards, not your opponent. Never happened anyways but good to know if you decide to try the card. Also Spright Red can not negate Avramax attack gain in dmg step since it doesnt negate activation, wasnt sure while recording but got clarification now (also never happened but jfyi) Thanks for all the positive responses! ❤

Can you Elaborate on the Avramax vs Spright Red? Red says "When your Opponent activates a Monster Effect...". Congrats on the win!

During the damage step only cards that can 1, directly increase attack or defense. 2, negate activations. Or 3, are countertraps. Red only negates the effect not the activation so it cant be used during the damage step.

@@willytonjc There are certain effects that can be activated in the damage step. For an effect or card to activate in the damage step, it must meet at least of the requirements. One of these requirements is that the effect negates activation (NOT negates an effect). Avramax's effect activates in the damage step. Spright Red negates effects but not activation (and has no other properties to qualify for the damage step), so it cannot activate in the damage step.

Congratulations joshua! Just wanted to correct something said; Chaos Hunter doesn’t stop Evenly Matched because it causes you (not your opponent) to banish the cards.

@@JoshuaSchmidtYGO true, it's the special wording of Evenly (only 3 cards are worded like that, 'Bahalutiya, the Grand Radiance' and 'Deep Sea Sentry' the other two xD), but you are right, that it still works vs Shifter, Cosmic, Prosperity and all Flunder cards which was your main point in your explanation and that hurts Flunder way more than the evenly :D

I do not comment at all under any video anywhere, i do not like spright much, but guys the way he studied the mannequin cat + rai oh + erat numen + chaos hunter vs specific decks, and the way he though about spell canceller counter, this guy (or i don't know if came up with e-man team aswell) but this guy is a meta changer by himself, it's just the Michael Jordan of Yu-Gi-Oh. Two questions: 1) Why do you prefer Avramax over Abomination? 2) Even though the extra is tight, would you prefer to play the new Runick fusion, Freki? Yes/No, Why? Thanks again! Mannequin Cat is a crazy utility card, it's like Gizmek Uka on steroids. There's some potential application for using it with Kaijus too(i.e. using one Thunder King to seatch the other), but if you're on Sphere Mode and Lava Golems that's probably excessive.
