Only, now and then, depending on how intense things get, I do still ejaculate outside, though not nearly as much as I did before the meds.. I love these videos and love your channel. Hi Doctor Malik. I had HOLEP procedure 6 months ago and have recovered nicely, able to pee like an 18 year old after years of struggling with severely enlarged prostate symptoms. The operation has left me with retrograde ejaculation but orgasms are now more intense though take a while to happen. As I'm 62 and not wanting children I'm more than happy with the results.

I had this while taking a BPH medication (Rapaflo) which was actually withdrawn because of this side effect. It took a while after stopping taking it, but things got back to normal.

Not too sure but I think that's why issue is. Every couple of months the nuggent makers give me excruciating pain, sometimes to the point that I have to lay down on my stomach for a couple hours. Then it just goes away. I'm only 35

i started doing Kegel exercises about 4 months ago hoping they would help my enlarged prostate and urine flow. I think they sort of have helped a bit as I seem to be able to empty my bladder fully most times. I do the exercises in bed, while driving and just sitting at the computer. No big deal.

I had a spinal cage put in at L5-S1 and they tore the nerve that controls the valve that directs semen to the outside and it was shooting into my bladder. 9 months later the nerve had regenerated enough to where some was coming out but not in the vellums it was before.

Very interesting. I am 68 and have retrograde ejaculation. I also have E D. I had radiation treatment for prostate cancer four years ago. I can't get an erection but I still have a strong orgasm when I masturbate, which feels fantastic. It still feels like I'm going to ejaculate but I don't. Anyway, my E.D. is probably due to my other medical issues or meds I take for type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure, etc. I lost my wife in 2015. Hi Dr Malik, thank you for addressing this issue. I had a TURP a little over three years ago and I had nothing but problems ever since. One of my biggest concerns was retrograde ejaculation that started after I started dealing with BPH. After starting medication for this, I started having the retrograde. Nothing I have tried since then has helped. I do take medication for high blood pressure, diabetes as well as BPH. If I stop the medication for BPH will I start having normal sexual function such as regular ejaculation. I cannot seem to get answers from my local doctors and my urologist just left for greener pastures.

It feels like contractions hitting a brick wall. It's uncomfortable. My urologist says there is no medication for it. I also have a pinch sensation in my left vas deferens under my hernia scar area at the start of orgasm. That is uncomfortable too. It is a shame that this topic is treated with such flippancy- using a comedy show to get a few laughs at a medical issue and Dr Malik's attitude does not help.I had to have greenlight laser surgery on my prostate when I was only 47 years old.I am now 67 and have not had sex for virtually 20 years. My then partner left me because of the effect on my mental health and consequent lack of desire for her I am now condemned to a sex less life for the rest of my days. To say that this condition "will not kill you and you should live with it" is poor. I am from the UK but the same attitude persists in the UK as it does in the US I believe- the surgeons see this as a quick way to make money ( I had my procedure done privately) and the fact that I would suffer from retrograde ejaculation was mentioned as a passing afterthought. I make no apologies for being frank on this issue- I used to enjoy ejaculating over my partners bottom and breasts and yes she was happy to swallow my ejaculate at times- it made for a fulfilling sex life as neither of us wanted children. The impact on my mental health and that of others who suffer with this condition is just not recognised. It is a shame that medical research could not come up with a mechanical device to shut off the bladder neck so that semen could be discharged in the natural way.
