It’s expensive cuz it’s a beautiful and unique case IMO, I have it and I still use it for my builds, a lot has changed on it but with M.2s you dont need to put any drives on the back anymore and less wiring which makes it easier to cable manage, also just use one RGB controller if you can and that will also save you a headache IMO. Im not touching it or carrying it so smudges or weight isn’t an issue for me.

you should take one of those dell monitors in the background and like have it inside of the side pannel of a pc case
@DLMtechgarage3 жыл бұрын
probably would make the case look better.

this case is so nice easy to clean great air floow

The glass is easy to clean and so are the filters but it can gather dust internally fast and I don't live in a dirty house, far from it because the wife has asthma. As much as i like this case, in fact i love it, it is starting to show its age because there are to many gaps that the dust filters dont cover, there is a gap at the front and rear on both side panels for a start, and the little dust filter underneath does not cover the lots of other little holes the underneath has. The dust filters also clog up quick because again there are large gaps everywhere. I understand there there to improve airflow but anyone who is not computer savvy or simply does not clean his PC often enough is going to have a case full of dust in no time. Its the only fault i can find with this case.

If you remember me from the comments section of the 60 dollar pc, (hp elitedesk 705 g1), I got another pc, intel 650 4 gb ram 1300 mhz and some intel mbo (an old pc from my dads work) and that pc would have to thermal throttle then one day it overheated on me, so I took the heatsink off the mbo then the heat sink off itself then cleaned the literally layer of caked dust from prolly 9 years or so. I also had thermal paste come in a few days after and i put it in (There was none to begin with), took off like 5-10 degrees C and this weekend i think ill clean off my main pc (the elitedesk) and hopefully it doesnt have thermal paste for me to clean off. Hopefully thatll knock off a few degrees from 65 C on load.

awesome. make sure you use at least 91% isopropyl alcohol, towels that leave no fiber like shop towel or micrfiber towels and really scrub into that heatsink with it. The heatsink poors tend to really hold that dried up past in it.

@@DLMtechgarage Thanks for the advice I will prolly come back here depending on the situation of the pc. Edit: I forgot to say the thermal paste I bought was the arctic mx4, i chose it bc it was like under 10 bucks i think and nothing can beat the price of that and also being 4 grams

@@dashingriggs that's some good paste. I use it most of the time.

@@DLMtechgarage I got the pc heatsink cleaned up and with some new thermal paste, 10 degrees down on full load about. it did have thermal paste but i took it off like normal with some 70 or so percent isopropyl alcohol and some cotton swabs to remove the remaining water and thermal paste. the dust was caked on the heatsink itself on the top but no where close to what my other pc was. I did get this pc from a "refurbished" seller on ebay for like 80 bucks anyways so they may have done something with the pc to begin with but i wont trust anything like that. I did clean off atleast a year of dust build up. possibly even from 2014. 🤔
