Bryson you made a great choice. Pilgrim set (mainly the 2 pieces) is great through the entire game, so is the perfect dodge set. There's also blind monks in chapter 3 that drop a blindfold that makes perfect dodges easy

The way that I bet Yellow long is: *-Craft 3 mirage potions* (restore might) for transformation. *-Fully upgrade Cloud step spell* *-Equip Yin tiger transformation* (Because it has the ability to block and blocking charges special attack gauge. *-Transform into Yin tiger and block when he does his flying attack combo.* So you can easily survive those parts of his fight. -Drink 1 of your mirage potion after you come out of the transformation so its back up and ready for the next time he does those flying attacks. *-Use charged heavy attacks in cloud step to do bursts of damage in between your transformations.* (And if none of that works or doesn't help enough. You can always use a cheesy tactics of farming the potions that Xu dog gifts you every so often. For a *Soul Remigration pill* which resurrects you when you die. To give you an extra life fighting Yellow loong.)

For golden lining, you have to light attack, and then when the boss is about to hit you,heavy attack to counter them, you will get a focus point, stun them, and get a i frame. When you get a focus, heavy attack, and you will jump in the air and do a hard hitting attack. If you have 3, you nuke enemies' health bars. Best transformation in the game

Easier strategy for Yellow long, keep distance holds him from entering his combo phase. Load up focus attack, and if you can hit right it breaks his combo. When he does eventually fly up use cloud step and you can avoid the attack all together, rinse and repeat.

the strategy I used for this guy was pretty simple but took some time. his first move is going to be the dash towards you then a spinning slash. avoid those two then charge up focus to 3. he will not attack while you do this and you get his health down considerably. don't use any skills with this first part. eventually he will do that same attack but instead of the spin slash, he will jump in the air and dash at you. at this point, use the pluck of many and turn into the first summon you Have. he will get stunned lock by your attacks, his health will now be down very low so just unload all your skills at him. he's beaten

Look up how to get to Purple Cloud Mountain which is ch4 secret area and beat the bosses there to get a needle vessel which annihilates the final boss in that last phase he does and gets the materials for that mythical staff

^ also finish the talisman quest before beating the last boss or else you’re locked from the boss from the talisman quest. Also once u get to purple cloud mountain make sure to do both bosses before going for the main boss of purple cloud mountain or u can miss those too

Look up Purple Cloud Mountain secret questline, it involves that purple tower that you couldn’t get through and it unlocks a secret area with a boss that gives you a talisman to get rid of the Hundred Eye Daoist’s yellow domain expansion bullshit. It helps a lot

Yellow long can actually be beat reasonable easily . Equip Pilgrems armor set , reset all your sparcs and max out spell binder , invest heavily in stamina tree , smash stance , invest in defense and perfect Dodge in the transformation tree ( the one most people ignore because they do not realize that the transformation tree also buffs their Monkey and the game gives you more defense per sparc than it would if you investeded in defense under the foundation tree ) then put sparcs into stamina , mana , health , critical hit chance , max out health invest in defense . Equip the gourd that gives you a temporary speed boost when sprinting after you sip your gourd . With spell binder equiped I charge up smash stance while I run up the stairs and keep to the right of yellow long when you get close too him he will lunge straight at you every time , time your release of smash stance and you will jump over Yellow loongs first attack and bonk him on his head with a charged heavy which will stagger yellow long allowing you to get in about 3 to 4 more light attacks in then back off run and keep your distance until your charged up 3 focus points for your charged smash stance . The reason why the Pilgrims set helps tremendously with this fight is because as you sprint your attack damage doubles combine that with spell binder and your charged heavy attack you will take off junks of yellow longs health. You will be dodging most of yellow loongs attacks by running fast while charging smash stance than you will use Dodge it will take you a few trys to get good at dodging his attacks simple by running while charging smash stance. Once you get good at avoiding his attacks with running yellow long will go into his phase of lunging at you from above , this part you gotta Dodge with your life . If you survive that phase the go back to sprinting while charging . It's looks goofy as he'll but it works

In the dlc, they should have vessel where it temporarily disables all element affects to you, including damage. So you can walk on lava terrain when the vessel is active. It doesn’t stun the enemy, it just makes you physically immune to all of the four banes.

Was on this for hours I cooked him with a staunch 3 focus left smash stance first then wondering Wight, immobilise then 1 light spin hopefully get the stagger builds the wondering Wight up the rinse and repeat until over half way then pluck of many or during the lightning air attacks he does swap to r2 circle frost fella with tentacle horns and frost him then it's simply wait for your opportunity to 1 light then spin attack then wondering Wight immobilise repeat if you need a break hit him with the cloud step every now and then, but I will say there was serious performance issues on my PS5 with this fight ecspecially nearing the end made it near impossible to play. Finally beat him and now have no idea where to go haha

Good job beating yellow wong straight up no cheese . You missed alot of items , curios and crafting materials and side quests tho by walking into the final boss too early and you should equip the weavors needle and use it during the 2nd phase of the final boss right after the short cut scene ends to strip him of his massive aoe attack. Side quests in other games are not nearly as important as it is in Black myth , missing out on items in this game will effect your build in the next chapters
