YELLOWFIN TUNA NON STOP Oregon Inlet North Carolina

In the video we go out of Oregon inlet here in my home state of North Carolina in search of Yellowfin Tuna, the bite has been on fire lately and we are hoping to catch a few, just as soon as we pull the throttle back we get a bite on our first rod in the water and then the reface is ON!! ended the day catching a total of 1 yellowfin and 2 Dolphin (aka) Mahi Mahi. beautiful ride in and that was a day! the Gamefish 30 did an awesome job and the crew worked great!

Very nice! What lb Braid to what top shot do you run? Looked like you had no issues getting them in. Didnt see any downriggers, assume you were running. 4 line spread with the outriggers?

I use 80lb braid, FG knot to 100 lb mono top shot, trolling swivel to 100 lb flouro. Yea tuna like the surface bite so only outriggers. Could only run 3-4 rods all day it was so busy

Not a bad video, looks like you guys had a good day out there. Somebody needs to teach the guy with the Trump hat how to gaff a fish though. No reason to gaff them through the meat when they were ripe for headshots.
