Yellowstone Cutthroat

An awesome day spent in the park fishing for cutthroat trout on the fly. We visited a river and a lake, involving two completely different types of fishing. Dude the lake always fishes tooooouuugh. Last time I was up there I got skunked and swore I’d never make the steep hike again unless it was to watch the otters fish the inlet in spring.

No kidding! I don't blame ya. Those big cutts spawning at the inlet were pretty cool to watch. Definitely a great spot for an otter to snag a meal!
