I saw him at the end of May, right before he blew up. Stood there stupidly for like 15 mins while he kept responding to ppl on stream on what songs he should mash up. Honestly, his busking is more waiting around and chatting than actual singing. But crowd just grew exponentially because everyone so curious on what is going on. Popularity surge IMO a lot due to: 1) During the easing of restrictions where everyone wants to go out but end up remembering they're broke and need free entertainment. 2) queue culture, see people queue and watch I also wanna do it cause FOMO 3)novel thing for majority of younger gen who consume mostly english media.

this man is MAD lmfao ive never heard of him in my time living in sg. having performed in esplanade multiple times i can definitely vouch for the sound engineers and technicians, they do such a great job and are so professional. having some short experience as a sound tech, i know performers often don't understand what sound techs do and sometimes are total dicks to them. but this guy is literally mental lol. put it in perspective: we don't endorse even lea michele being a diva on set so why would this nobody think he could get away with it

Dude, this happened to me once. One guy talked to me for 12 hours. I told him I was going to sleep but then he kept the convo going. Of course it was partly my fault bc I should have set boundaries (I was young). He texted me once and my phone died because we were texting non stop. I had to charge my phone and it as literally 5 mins. He went crazy. The messages went from "hey are you there?" to "WHY AREN'T YOU ANSWERING ME?!" "ARE YOU IGNORING ME?" That should have been the red flag for me. Then he had the audacity to say it was me who talked to much and texting him non-stop. Gaslighting me into thinking I was the problem. CRAZY
