A: I can't believe this year is almost over. B: Yeah, like they say, time flies when you're having fun (idiom: 재미있는일 집중하면 시간가는 줄 모른다). A: Right...except this was . B: But otherwise, ? A: Well, actually not too bad. I mean there are some goals I didn't accomplish, but I am grateful for my family and that everyone is healthy. B: Yeah, you can say that again. If I'm being hard on myself, I'm disappointed in myself that I failed to lose the 20lbs which I (set out to do 하려고 시작 했던것). But you know, there is always next year!

진짜 공감하는 것 만큼 그 표현에 대한 동기 부여나 그것이야 말로 follow-through할 수 있게 하는 게 없는 거 같아요. 저도 매일 본문 다 외워버리는 스타일로 정주행 중인데... 역시 공감하는건 어렵든 길든 외우기 쉬워지고 혼자 중얼거릴때도 써먹기 좋고 무엇보다 일기나 생각노트 쓸 때 공부한 다른 날이더라고 비슷한 생각을 다시금 하게 되는데 그 표현을 또 쓸 기회가 생기니깐 다른거보다 더 복습할 기회가 많아지드라구요....

I also caught Covid last Thursday. At first time, I worried about various symptioms that I’ve heard. But other than the fact that it had several cold symptioms, in my case, it was not severe. For me, I had no fever and body aches. I could smell and taste. So, it was pretty much the same with sore throat cold. Today I felt good just like normal. So I started home gym this morning. I usually start off home gym big goals but with not a lot of follow-through and just end up with a lot of regrets. But I have a lot of time until next Wednesday. So maybe this time I can do my home gym regularly. But even if I can’t do it successfully, I try not to be too hard on myself. Try itself is meaningful.

How was yesterday? Well there was nothing special other than the fact that I had to finish my paper, not a lot of has happened. It's pretty much the same every day. I start my day full of passion and daily wish lists but with not a lot of follow through and just end up with I wish I had spent my time effectively not just trying to rush into. But I try not to be too hard on myself. I find it harder to motivate myself when I think too much about things I haven't done so well or things I could've done better so I would just try to keep my routines and do the work I have to do today.

@@sunsunny3218 은 사용하기가 약간 까다롭습니다. countable noun이 생략되면 복수의 느낌이 없어지는 것 맞습니다. 그리고 non-countable noun과 같이 쓰면 항상 단수로 쓰임니다. ex: A lot of time has passed since I left Korea. (o)

How did things go this year? Other than I had to take about a month off from work early this year because of the pandemic, there hasn't been much so far but i assume a lot is going to happen next year , you know, we are going to move , i am going to work for some other place and my son is starting going to the international middle school . Actually i've been concerned with these things a little too much . I am trying not to be hard on myself. I find it's harder to make them out perfect . I think we might be going through next year with some trials and errors (시행착오) I know one thing for sure .everything will end up being fine eventually .
