I had a rescue cat that had a difficult childhood, was probably starved and forgotten. So by the time I rescued her, she kept worrying for food, likely from her childhood trauma 🥺

Moo was rescued from the streets with his Momma at only 1 week old, and was in a loving foster family the entire time. We don't think it's from his past, but perhaps. We technically weren't there and can only go by what we saw, but they were truly good people so I doubt it. Daisy has also never stolen food from him, and kindly let's him eat first each time. So it wouldn't be Daisy giving him these behaviors. We also brought him to the vet to have him checked out, and the vet said he's all good. Even a bit overweight! He also thinks he'll calm down a bit as he gets older (he just turned one) but that it's still nothing to be concerned about unless he's doing it outside of mealtime. He also gets fed treats twice a day too so there's no reason he should be a big screamy boy like this. But yet, he is.
