And while they've moved passed that Dark arts hold on to the lead style on the pitch, they haven't let go of that mentality and are very persistent in keeping league points. Reminder if Atleti win the league this year it will be probably their biggest achievement. After 2000s they won 2 titles of the back of getting "washed" David Villa and Luis Suarez , am not trying to say Atleti is a small club cause it isnt but in those times realisticly Atleti shouldnt be getting 2 of the best strikers of the generation and what proved that was the immidiate impact they had that showed how much better they were to the rest of the Alteti team ( no offense to the players but the level diffrence was that huge ) .
