A lot of the things he said in this video are true.. but here are a few things he messed up: 1. Greenlandians are called Greenlandics so it's called the Greenlandic people. 2. The temp. does go way above freezing temprature. During summer months you can easily get 20-25 degrees celcius which is 68-77 F. in most of the Western side of Greenland, hense why the ice also might be melting at an alarming rate. 3. The natural resources such as Uranium rare stones, gold, diamonds, rubies already exist in large amounts all over the coast line from south to north (before you get to the ice sheet) so places NOT covered by ice. Sidenote my hometown where I grew up has a small mountain that has enough uranium to make trillions, but the people of my hometown voted against the idea of mining it.

Jooze Mane I don’t know how the terms are used in Greenland but there are countries that use different terms to distinguish between citizenship and nationality because they are multi-national countries. One example is Russia. The official name of the state in English is Russian Federation. In that translation some semantics gets lost. The Russian name is Rossijskaja Federazija which is hard to translate but means something like „Russianlandic Federation“. Russkij means of Russian nationality while rossijanin means someone with citizenship but who can also be Ukrainian, Tartar, Chechen, German, Karelian, Jakut, Jew or of any other of the countless nationalities in Russia.

Also $7M is pretty cheap for buying a whole state. Even at the time, Alaska was a bargain, and it has oil too, so it was useful. Greenland, however, should not be used for oil since it has some of the last glaciers, it is pretty untouched, and scientists work there. Greenland is better off without the Americans.

It is unique in that it is technically an independent country, yet still closely tied to the Danish Government for much of its international functions.
