Hi-Fi Rush truly was a surprise, and I'm really glad that it actually has good gameplay despite how easy it would be to mess it up.

If I needed any other good reason to upgrade my PC specs, I think Hi-Fi Rush seems like a damn good reason to! I can't wait to play this one hopefully soon!

I really need to check this game out after I whittle down my backlog some more. Heard basically nothing but good things. Hope it's a decent first character action game tho, DMC 1-3 are on my backlog but that's the closest I've gotten to playing one thus far

I'd say Hi-Fi Rush is a pretty good entry point for character action games! Some bosses tripped me up a little on my first runthrough but the campaign is pretty manageable. It does a good job introducing the basics and some extra stuff. Hope you enjoy it when you get around to it!

It really feels natural and not like, all at once like some games. It drip-feeds you the game's combat mechanics with some really solid tutorials that make sure you've gotten them figured out. DMC5 was my entry into character action games, and let me tell you that the way that this game does it is so much easier than the DMC5 way of basically throwing every mechanic it has at you in the first two levels, then making you unlock the rest. Hi-fi rush introduces new mechanics until the very last few levels.
