Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow was written by woman. Those are all fired up because it's the amazons, because they want the s3xual fantasy version of Paradise Island. I was so thrilled to hear the news that the Penguin show will lead right into the Batman II. Depending on how many weeks it takes Oz to claw his way to the top, we could be looking at either a Christmas or New Year's set storyline. Or maybe it'll start on Christmas Eve and end on New Year's Eve, taking about a week like the first film. I just think that it could be a huge benefit to the themes of the story if you use the holiday as a subplot - especially if we see more Bruce/Alfred bonding scenes.

I hear what you're saying here but I don't see why I should necessarily stop, but perhaps I could highlight even more that 'these takes don't represent everyone' when discussing it. Regardless, I do like highlighting the discourse that's happening surrounding any piece of news whether it's positive or negative, in order to get a broader take across so to speak from various portions of a fandom. Through showcasing stuff like that, as I mention in the video it can also generate conversation in the comments that could be interesting - especially as this particular 'criticism' these days from some people out there is quite a vocal thing not unique to twitter e.g. the whole topic surrounding 'female lead/written shows'. I like addressing negativity sometimes and combatting it with a different or alternate take & I don't think that's always a bad thing :)

I just figured out that The Batman ends on Wednesday November 6, 2024 so that means they set it in the future even though The Batman was filmed back during 2021, when Covid-19 was happening. I believe that Superman & Lois Season 4 episode 4 or episode 5 will be a crossover with Gotham Knights, where Turner Hayes & Carrie Kelley as Robin team up with Jordan Kent as Superboy to take down Lex Luthor, who hired Two-Face.

All in favour of the crossover in ideas. Mixing and matching villains from Batman, Flash, Superman. Mr Freeze, Captain Cold, The Riddler, Joker, The Weather Wizard. Penguin, Cat Woman. There are so many really good villains in the DC WORLD. Introduce rivalry and resentment with the main heroes and couple that with rivalry and jealousy with the main villains. There's a world of possibilities there, isn't there???

its pretty clear that a lot of the hate for the 'potential' writers for Paradise Lost havent really seen any of those writers' work. To look at the big two, Bridgerton does a decent job of portraying how the societal expectations are the bad guys, not the men or the women. There are good men and good women and bad men and bad women all through the show. Plus a lot of ~yearning~ which i think would be really funny to incorporate into a GOT style Amazonian show. And with Handmaids Tale, again I'm pretty sure there are some decent men in that show, we just dont spend a lot of time with them because thats not the focus. The show is meant to serve as a warning of the potential extremes of certain viewpoints, not as a condemnation of all men. I think bringing these two writers together is actually a very interesting idea to push the show forward and it has really amped up my excitement for the show as a whole (wasn't really thinking about it before now tbh) Edit: I forgot to mention that I was a BIG fan of the 100 during its heyday (it definitely went off the rails there at the end and why the hell didn't Clarke and Bellamy end up together that was a crime!) but anyway yeah I'm excited for this show now

As a guy whose favorite super hero of all time is Wonder Woman, it makes me sad how DC and DC fans just don't care about her and her supporting cast, not even counting the misogynistic ones. It's like saying "Who cares about Nightwing or Supergirl?" Paradise Lost works much better as a show than Krypton or Gotham which alot of ppl enjoyed still. Themyscira is not dependent on Diana existing(unlike Gotham) and is still influential on present day events(unlike Krypton) and yet ppl still talk about it like there is nothing to explore. The only reason ppl feel like that is bc DC has never pushed WW and her mythos really (80 yrs and not a single animated series yet) and DC fans absolutely refuse to read her stories even though she has some great material. The way Boba and the BobaTalks comment section talk about Batman is how I feel about WW. I'm not expecting everyone to make a 180 but damn it's fucking Wonder Woman y'all. A prequel series is the least she deserves and one of the few ways to make ppl engage and care about the Amazons instead of just WW. Hopefully this will lead to ppl reading more WW comics so people can have educated opinions on her character/mythos instead of just half baked assumptions. Love your work Boba and keep it up but yeah you definitely have a WW fan that is eating up all the PL news. Also apparently the writer from the 100 worked on the first 3 seasons which were the best ones IMO.

Obviously any writer they get there would be a stance of anti man rhetoric in the story inherently but like I said there's a way to do it tastefully and if they lay it on to thick and involve modern politics in a wayward way then obviously people will be upset seeing as it is a DC property and the majority of the fanbase consists of men. The climate that movies are in right now is very delicate and people being very weary of certain studios, writers etc is only the fault of hollywood itself. Can't fault those fans whatsoever. The Bat-Verse can’t come any sooner I did The Batman Part I imo since Yk the sequel title but The Penguin is something I can’t wait to see what happens next especially with other spin-offs like I hope we still get the Arkham Asylum bc that has a lot of potential other spinoffs I would to see would be for the Court of Owls or Calender Man but still hyped for more The Bat-Verse. I think us male fans are mostly just sick of them making women masculine in films like they have with captain marvel and making she hulk a feminist that hates men .
