A little about me and this channel:
My name is James Aubrey IV and I just recently graduated college from Iowa State University. After college I decided to take a leap of faith. So I moved to San Diego California to pursue my passion for videography/ KZbin. Overall I'm a pretty chill person, outside of KZbin I like to longboard, dance, play video games, lift weights and hangout with my friends. I know that success on KZbin won't happen overnight but I'm willing to stay patient and put in the work to try to prefect my craft daily. This KZbin channel will be centered around my life after college. You will be able to see all of the ups and downs on my journey to success. So if you like the content make sure you subscribe so you can be apart of the Rome Life Family. (Let's build our own personal Rome's together.)
What is the Rome Life ? And What does it mean to be apart of it?
Rome Life is something I started during my Sophomore year of high school (one of the worst times in my life) it started off as me documenting my journey to recovery from my shoulder surgery but eventually it turned into a platform that I could use to encourage myself as well as others to chase our dreams.
Rome Life isn't just a saying it's a way of life and for the people who want to be apart of it have to realize that. Rome wasn't built in a day it took a lot of handwork time and most importantly patience. So you can't expect your dreams to be any different
This is a reaction video used to educated and give my feedback on the song and artist

My sons favorite group..Fun Fact: The lyrics describe a psychedelic-country life, with allusions to driving. A roundabout is a kind of traffic circle that substitutes for a stoplight and confounds tourists who are unfamiliar with them. Traffic patterns don't always make the most poetic lyrics, but the word "Roundabout" sings very well and fits with the theme of the song, as when Jon Anderson came to a roundabout in Scotland, he knew that he was almost home.

1969-73 was undoubtedly the most ambitious, creative and prolific 5 year span in all of modern music. Far too many to list here, but all the great bands of that era produced their finest music during that time. Roundabout by Yes, off their groundbreaking album Fragile, is but one tremendous example. 64-68 & 74-79 had its share of outstanding music as well, but there is just something very special about this particular period of time that separates it from all the rest.

Linda Ronstadt and the Nelson Riddle orchastra; “What’s New”. It’ the queen of 60’s 70’s every style of music expanding once again to music of the 30’s, 40’s, and 50’s, with one of the great band leaders and his band. The three Riddle albums I believe e netted her two Grammys. She also sang “Gilbert and Sullivan’s” “pirates of penzas” on Broadway, w/ Kevin Kline, and of course she won a Tony.

If the prog rock bug is biting you in a good way, you can never go wrong with Yes, Genesis, and Pink Floyd. Lots of others too, but there's something special about those three. As for Yes, check out any of the "Yes Union Live Shows" on KZbin. This tour was fun because you have Yes West (80s Yes) and Yes East (vintage 70s Yes) combined as one supergroup on stage.

Keep this up! I was born in the 1960s and get the biggest kick out of your reactions to songs I grew up with as a kid. Makes me feel young again. I will now tell you of some sublime and totally different music that you have probably yet to encounter. The album is Getz/Gilberto. (FYI, it won record of the year and album of the year in the 1965 Grammy Awards.) You should start with the Girl From Ipanema, which won record of the year (which is saying something because it beat out I Want To Hold Your Hand by the Beatles), but my personal favorite on the album is Doralice. That's all I'll say, except it would give me a smile if you choose to listen. Thanks.

Another concert I went to in the 80's. Cedar Rapids Iowa, something happened with the back up band so they showed a Bugs Bunny cartoon, the one where he fights the bull. Such a great concert. Ive been blessed to make it to the ones I did. I almost was able to see Eric Clapton, i believe he was playing in Moline Illinois

Ok, so this is the best example of what amazing and so beautifully composed music of our generation! I'm so happy that you and other young people are checking this amazing music for the first time. I'm kind of jealous - because in my day - there was so much excellent music - it wasn't as such a mind blowing experience - well maybe Yes - but overall there was just so much good music - the bar for us was set kind of high. Cheers!

This band was so far ahead of others in their music and words! Major awesome! If you want to hear an amazing song of Yes', you have to hear Close to the Heart. It's a long song, but there are so many transitions and tempo changes and the words are dynamic! Timeless.
