67 years old from Athens-Greece, prog rock fan from the early days, but believe it or not, I had never delved into Yes until 2024! Why? Maybe because there was so much incredible music in the late sixties-early seventies? Could not afford to buy their LPs? Had missed reading album reviews? None of my school friends had any of their albums? All of these. No matter, really happy to have now gotten acquainted with them, humbly bowing to their brilliance!

Antonios Pomonis This album was recorded between 1996 and 1997 and released in 2001. In my opinion, this album represented the return of the style and strong line-up of the 70s, which was Yes' best phase. I suggest listening to other songs from this album. MIND DRIVE and BRING ME TO THE POWER are also great. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Keystudio

Back in 1982, a friend invited me to his place, he knew that I was fond of rock music, mainly Rainbow, Deep Purple, Led Zeppelin, ..... And then he told me, come listen to good music. What he turned on turned my idea of the world of music forever !!! The first thing that captured me from the first listening: King Crimson - "21st Century Schizoid Man" is understandable, but with the second disc it became more difficult, too much musical information fell on me then and it took me a little more time to comprehend! And it was Yes - Close To The Edge !!! I had to listen to them several times to understand what masterpieces I am listening to !!! It is very difficult for a young maximalist to change to a new one ! )) And so, when I "drove" into it, I could already listen to all the music there is on Earth!!! By the way, I still don't speak or understand English! Yes - Close To The Edge !!! 😉

I got to know progressive music through some older relatives: cousins and my only brother. Years later, I was able to introduce them to my listening degree: Focus, Gentle Giant, Jeff Beck, Niacin, Liquid Tension Experiment, Steve Morse, Dixie Dregs, The Aristocrats and many others. But there is a group from my country that I dare recommend you to listen to. SEQUAZ. Look it up on KZbin. By the way, I'm from Brazil.

I love Beethoven's music, especially the late period. The string quartet in A minor is stunning, the 3rd movement just kills me. Many years ago, when I was at a particularly low point in my life, the I was listening to the A minor, the sun was streaming through the window and I just dissolved into the sound. During the 3rd movement, I noticed I was crying, sobbing hard, not because I was sad or depressed, but because of the sheer beauty of the music. When it was finished, I had to go out for a walk, feeling reinvigorated and purposeful, and things started looking up from there. Thanks, Ludwig, you really helped me through a bad patch. 🙏

I can't believe Rick would have liked this music. I love Jon but he was mostly ruining this period with trying to wail all the on-the-nose lyrics and carry the day.

Rick was excited by this music and was disappointed that Keys to Ascension wasn't released with only the new studio tracks. Keystudio was finally released years later.

I never thought I'd hear a Yes song with the word "crack" in it. How wrong. And how far they'd fallen. Of course, it's downright good compared to the new stuff.

I'm sorry, but I don't agree with your opinion. The lyrics of this song may not even match the peace lyrics we have always become accustomed to. But they spoke about a reality of life in a touching way that makes us reflect more on human beings in an invitation to solidarity. The musical quality is an overcoming and display of personal maturity by each musician with the reunion of a lineup that was one of the most successful in Yes' entire history.

Since there are no founding members left in the band, and all that remains of the classic lineup is Steve Howe, I would like to see Yes move from "That That Is", to "Well, That's It". They should've hung it up after Alan and Chris died.

Thats not how music and musicians work from the beginning. Their work is for foremost themselves. If we as the audience dont like it, we leave. Besides: this is a musical band, not a marriage for life. And, bills STILL have to get paid, as you might remember.
