"....and some aggressive cats".... :-) This is a typical sight in Spain, indeed you'll often find packs of feral cats around most landmarks and tourist hotspots. There are some kind people who feed them but there are also some Spaniards who are not so happy about these cats, citing that they are a nuisance. That train is cool, reminds me of a similar train that runs on the mainland between Benidorm and the port of Denia, also narrow gauge.

It's definitely rare to see a subway system on an island like Mallorca. When you were talking about the security guards in the station, they take their job very seriously because Intermodal station it's a point of a lot of robberies, drug traffic and even prostitution in the bathrooms of the station. I was one day taking pictures of a train because I also like trains and I got yelled too and I was so close to get a fine for it, I've complained to SFM because maybe you could have tell there was no sign saying that filming or taking pictures wasn't allowed in the station. It appears you must have some sort of permission so you could film there since they explained to me that there are groups of youth people that what they do is go down to the rails and start graffiting.

(no hate) but the trains are awfull and run infrequent to the rest of Spain and metro by this point should be counted as a branch of the regional services becouse it doesn’t really connect a metro area
