the from zero serieses teach a language from ZERO. I know 100% your english is not at zero, the books would be way to easy for you. Trying the japanese from zero series in contrast, would help your english as well as your japanese

Oh my god, George, these videos are so helpful, you don't know how much I enjoy them. I also feel so proud sometimes when I can translate your examples before you'll do. I feel that my Japanese level can freaking increase in minutes just by watching your videos even if that's not the case. I'll definitely will try to buy the actual books once I'll have enough money.

Hi George, can you clarify when the te-form of the verb joining two sentences translates to successive actions vs. cause/reason? For example, there was an example used a few videos back that went: 花瓶(kabin)がテーブルから落ちて(ochite)、割れました(waremashita) which translated to "The flower vase fell from the table AND broke". But as per this lesson, this can also be translated as "The flower vase broke BECAUSE it fell from the table". Thanks!

I bought JFZ1 kindle edition last year. After wathching your stream today I checked it out and I think that it had a same problem because to support you I bought JFZ3,4,5 and together with JFZ2 kindle app group it together but didn't add a JFZ1 to that group so I bought JFZ1 one more time. And guess what... It was immediately in group with other four books. Thank you Georgy for your work and teaching me. I throw out the window approximately € 1k for Japanese lesson whiche gives me really nothing. I'm actually finishing JFZ2 and I feel that I'm did huge step forward in last year comparing almost the two years of mentioned classes. Afrer finishing JFZ2 I'm going to review JFZ1,2 and hooray let's start work on book 3. I really really appreciate your work...ジョージ先生、ありがとうございます。

I've been lucky enough to win all (at the time) 4 books some time ago, the books and the video series have helped me so much! I really like the Kansai Dialect and have been thinking about buying your course, I think now is a good time for it. Good luck with getting the counterfeit book situation sorted out, hope you can get compensated for the lost revenue. You and your team really deserve it. Thank you for all the work you put into the books and your KZbin channels over the years!

VERY pleased to see these videos rolling out again. I started learning Japanese in January, and I binge studied all of your videos and felt myself building a small core of the language (just used your videos, didn't buy the books haha). Since there were only around 100 videos, I had to find new methods of studying, but ima continue watching these as they come out

パーティーがつまらなくて、帰りました。 Festen var tråkig, så jag gick hem. I am surprised because the くて works exactly how the swedish "så" works. I've been wondering if any other language had this aswell and now I found out it actually was Japanese all along xD you are amazing George, I learn something new from you every time I watch your videos. George/JFZ Team, Question: I noticed that at the end of your example sentences, they were formal. When you use these grammar structures, do you always have to end in formal or can you end in informal too?

Hello George ! I read the JFZ series and I've came to the conclusion that "パーティー"is the most used word in the series. So I was wondering : what is your relationship with parties and what does your shrink think about that ? :-D Greetings from France.
